What makes you smile as Cowboys fan?

For me, there's been little to smile about over the last near 2 decades. I have the occasional high moment when we win a big game or a player does something special. I have no jerseys anymore, no posters, no videos except the glory years of the nineties. I'm an unhappy fan, but I can't stop being a fan. I hope that I can smile and be proud of this team one day. Not being mean, just being totally honest.

This is honestly sad. Not from just a "Cowboys fan" perspective, but from a regular human perspective. You basically have a hobby that you invest a large amount of time in, but don't enjoy at all.

I will say this- I hate every single loss of every single season. With that being said, I'll be damned if I'm not going to enjoy the wins. I don't care if it's against the Browns and we win ugly with a last second FG, or if it's us properly smashing a rival. The day I don't smile after we win is the day I'll start investing my time into something else, that I actually enjoy.

I think the most fun being a Cowboys fan is to beating the Giants, Commanders, or Eagles, then going over to their fan forums and reading their fans' post-loss meltdowns. I never tire of that, and it is always good for a big smile.
