I know many of us are frustrated at the inactivity shown by the Cowboys up to this point. So what move would make you happy?

Me:
Sign K Josh Brown to an offer sheet.

Shore up the LB position
I'd like the Ayodele deal wrapped up...one way or the other.
I'd like to resign Fujita (just cuz I hate giving up draft picks for rent-a-year deals)

It's not alot out there that would be huge upgrades over what we have, so I think it'll be addressed in the draft

Safety?
I'd at least look at Will Demps, though I think Marcus Coleman will be the guy.

Anyway, those are my thoughts...

If my wife made a move & left me.....that would make me happy....otherwise I will settle for us signing a K.

Add some depth and competition at RT, LB, sign a FS at minimum.

Agreed - Ayodele and Fujita.

What would we have to give up for Josh Brown?

I just want a K and a veteran FS.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I agree with all of these, except we also need more OL help.

i think its probably too late at this point in time to land anything like we all hoped for. you got to get an early start in FA and we set on our hands like we did a few years back when we got eddie george, testaverde, and wiley... 3 pathetic players. my faith is lost at this point.

Give me Vinatieri and Owens, sprinkle in a Veteran tackle and I'd be ready for the draft.

Give me a LB with the first pick, a FS with one of the next 2 picks and then just get best player available.

Is Tommy Polley available? Might not be a bad pickup. Still wish we'd have gone after Scott. Must've only impressed me.

WG...you are right on! :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Josh Brown is my next kicker I want...pissed we lost out on Longwell, but I think Brown would be a good fit.

For some reason, I think we're done addressing the OL. It's still early, but I don't feel very comfortable with some of the guys left...especially after Fabini has already come and gone.

for the person who asked, Josh Brown can be had for a 7th rd pick and nicely structured deal so Seattle can't match.

1. Vinatieri, or Brown to an offer sheet.

2. Sign Ayodele already.

3. Runyan, on the cheap.

I want some depth at NT, but I'm fresh out of suggestions via FA;
I like the draft depth at FS and think one of several players could step in.
I'd like to get a TE in this draft, also.

The end...

Love your post WG's...

The difference is folks, some say shore up the S and RT position. WG actually gives us names to consider.

Think about this years crop of FA's...Pretty slim pickings. I even may guess to say that there are a few people, who were totally against TO...are changing their minds right now because we haven't made the big splash. Not all of us, but some.

I posted earlier in another thread that I think we should shore up our own picks (Roy, Witten, T-new, James, etc) and roll our money into next year with LBTE's and make our big splash next year when more quality FA's are on the market.

I would like to see us spend the big bucks for a kicker and get the Pats kicker here and make him the best paid in football......

Then work on the offensive line, however, they are not much to choose from, therefore, guess we will have to use the draft.

In addition to Kosier (which I like).

Akin Ayodele
Mike Williams (take a shot at revitilizing his career)
Adam Vinatieri
Marcus Coleman

Me, I want Ashworth or Fabini at RT.

I want a safety and would be happy with Coleman.

I'm not so hot on Ayodele or Fuji -- keep in mind if we re-sign Fujita we owe another pick. I'd like Greisen as an ILB for cheap. Chris Claiborne has been linked to us on and off for years. Another cheap guy.

Kicker? Heck if we aren't spending big money at other positions why not give Vini 3 mill a year?

I also like Ryan Pickett for backup money.

Interesting pull, abersonc. He's been a bust for St. Louis, but I thought he was a good NT candidate coming out of college. He'd be some depth.
