What NFL fans are saying about Romo

Well, it is not just on the message boards. It is also at work. My relief, a Saints fan tells me that even though Romo is playing well, teams are not defensing him correctly.

He states that all teams need to do is double team Owens constantly, leave the other receivers in single coverage, and eventually, Owens will erupt in such a rage that will cause a distraction to the team.

Haven't we seen that before? I think Dallas has overcame that, moron!

And go ahead, single cover Terry Glenn. I dare you!

Every team we have played has been doubling TO.

it does make you wonder where this guy was... but it still seems the Panthers have a decent chance of making the playoffs, so maybe we'll all be treated to a rematch. They at least got a lead on us in that game, before the Awakening.

:laugh2:

My football life right now is not looking good.....

...my Eagles are w/o their QB, who by the way WAS my starting QB in 4 of my 5 Fantasy Teams.

...Dallas, who I thought was done when then went to Romo, now appear to have the second coming of Tom Brady...and also by the way, I am playing against two teams that have started Romo and his 5 TDs this weekend.

...lastly, it seems that everytime I turn on the TV to watch the NFL...some broadcaster is stating that Dallas is going to the Super Bowl, led by this Romo guy who should also be in the Pro Bowl

...oh yeah...one more thing....TO is loving it...and I cant stand that.

So what I guess I am saying, w/o prejudice, is that Romo to me seems to be a solid QB who makes very few mistakes. Watching him play it seems that the game is slow to him, he sees everything, he hits the open WR, he comes up with the play when he has too.

That's quite a ringing endorsement, everybodys gotta love reading that.

He states that all teams need to do is double team Owens constantly, leave the other receivers in single coverage, and eventually, Owens will erupt in such a rage that will cause a distraction to the team.

That's just dumb, and please tell your co-worker that. The way to beat the Cowboys is to enduce a hissy fit from Owens? So what he's saying is don't try to out-play or out-coach the team just try to cover TO and everything else is easy.......I wonder why no teams have tried that so far this season.

American by birth. Cowboys fan by the grace of God.

Cowboys rule. Other teams drool.(as evidenced by other team's posters :) )

If they're not fans of NFC East teams, I don't know why they'd care. Do I care about Alex Smith or JP Losman? Nope.

Its funny... I saw one in the Indy forum about "who wins SB first Romo or Manning"

copycats LOL.
I started that thread last week:lmao:

by the way the answer is: ROMO;)

They're just whistling through the graveyard. They know that we have a HOF coach who's been stockpiling young talent and an owner who will do whatever it takes to win.

The rest of the league has been praying we'd just keep whiffing on a QB and now their worst nightmares have been realized.

You really can't blame them ... the last couple times this tune has played out they didn't like the consequences.

I didn't know you were a Calvinist;) Truthfully all Cowboy fans are, we were predestined for greatness!

Looks like the 49er fans don't like Romo and think he is going to fall into mediocridy once teams get film on him:laugh2: :laugh2:

The teams had film on him after the first few games. Our basic scheme doesn't change day to day. Must be their coaches :laugh2:

Oh, well, guess they hate it our QB is having more success than their heir apparent to Joe [or Steve 'living on the talent left by Joe' Young. [which I do think Alex is starting to look better. But TR has more surrrounding talent right now.
Oh, well...let them be envious once again.

Should be interesting to see what the other NFC teams have to say now... not so much about Romo, but I bet the Giants boards are just infested with distraught and discouraged fans.

Now, Grossman is the QB of a 9-2 team that has not played all that well lately. Romo is the QB of a 7-5 team that is the hottest in the NFC. That opens some eyes as well.
