Food for thought. Exaggerated for effect. Like anything else just don't over do it and you will be just fine. I probably average one a day, I enjoy caffeine and the taste. Life is too short not to. Haha. But I also work out everyday. Just stop sitting on your *** is the best thing for anybody.

I always find it funny the people who eat a ton of fruit (not that fruit is bad for you) but criticize coke drinkers. Sugar is sugar and your body still has to break it down no matter the form.

That's not entirely true. The "sugar" that you find in fresh fruit is mostly levulose which is quite a bit different than sucrose (table sugar), fructose (fruit sugar) and HFCS (high fructose corn syrup). It isn't an isolated monosaccharide or disaccharide but has sugar embedded in a complex matrix of other nutrients.

In general I'm a believer in avoiding all sources of immediate release sugars which includes sugar sodas and fruit juices, including fresh juice varieties. Consume it naturally the way it was intended is the best practice. Juicers will produce something much better than sugar soda but I don't think losing the bulk of the fruit is a net health benefit.
