How far have the '49ers, and the accompanying hatred, fallen when nobody mentions the all-time cheating'est duo in NFL history of Carmen Policy and Eddie Debartolo?

Tampering, gambling, organized crime ties, bribing the media with free trips to the pro bowl on the team plane, hushing down the indiscretions of star players?

Nobody even holds a candle to these guys.

I truly hated Buddy Ryan and Ray Rhodes as coaches of the Eagles.

Andre Waters and Wilbur Marshall were players I hated for always taking cheap shots.

And I've always hated the media constantly kissing Brett Favre's posterior, he may be a first ballot Hall of Famer in waiting, but he'll always be extremely overrated in my book.

The Packers, Browns, Steelers, Commanders, and Eagles. Surprisingly, I don't hate the Giants. I guess we generally beat them when it counted. Well, except one I can remember lately. I don't hate the Colts, Rams, or Vikings although I surprised not.

We should have three more championships at the least. *******s.

Oh yeah. One player. Theisman.

Merton Hanks

I so despised chicken neck Hanks.

Last I heard he was a NFL uniform cop at games giving players hell for any wardrobe snafus.

This will be unpopular since he was the "coach" when we last won the SB. I can't stand Switzer. He may have been coach but he did nothing to guide the team to a SB win. He was a drinking buddy for Jerry pure and simple. Moose and I think Woodson have said the players ran that team not him. I cheered as loud when he got canned as I did for any SB win.

...Buddy Ryan.

He may have been a good defensive coach, but he lacked people skills and his sideline behavior was an embarassment to pro football coaching community.

I agree 100%, he owes the NFL and its fans an apology.

Most of the names listed above, especially Buddy Ryan.

I would also add Jack Lambert to the list.

I always hated John Riggins because I knew that, no matter how much we game planned for him, he was going to mow our middle down every freaking time we played the deadskins.

It's more of a respect now that came about after he retired. I hated to see that guy when he played though. He made our guys look like pinballs on numerous occasions.

Yeah he was a ******, but one tough S.O.B.

If he played in this era he wouldn't start on any of the 32 teams in this league. Cold bloooddeeeed.

My thoughts exactly. He might be my FB if Brown were the RB.

I wouldn't count on that. There are some who could have played in any era. I hate the Steelers but I love Bam Morris and the Bus. Riggins I just respect a great deal. Larry Csonka. Those types and a lot more. Emmitt would have been a star in any era. Some HOF RBs wouldn't play at all in this league but were stars in their day.

Csonka and Riggens wouldn't start in the league today. I'd bet all the 24 dollars I have left in my wallet on that right now.
