him accepting responsibility is one thing but again at the same time it was an institutional problem not a bill belichek problem.

that more of a 'the buck stops here' then true culpability.

Name one head coach in the NFL that has more overall power than Belichick?

Can you honestly think that he'd have some flunky, no-name intern, doing something on his own?

That is laughable.

Nothing in that organization gets done without Belichick having his hands on it...nothing.

If it came out that we were cheating, and possibly had been doing it for years, perhaps even giving us an advantage in all those 3 point SB wins...and all we got was a 750K fine and we lost what will be our late first pick, but we had no penalties this year and we get to keep Cleveland's pick, I'd be doing freaking backflips of joy!

So you are ok with cheating if it gets you 3 Super Bowls. Which I'm not sure was actually deemed cheating previous to 2007.

There are so many BB and Bonds analogies here. Difference though is after rule change Belichick was busted and Bonds was not.

Like the hyperbole. As i have stated it was a complete institutional issue. You could just as easily point a finger at Pioli or or Kraft which are just as high on the food chain as Mumbles.

What youre looking for is a scapegoat. What i want is an indictment of the whole franchise and it to be treated as such. This is not a Bill Belichek problem its a NE Patriot problem.

Where did I say I was okay with cheating?

I would think the basic theme of this thread shows otherwise...I answered your remark that if Dallas lost a first for cheating we'd all be crying by saying if it came out we were winning by cheating I'd be happy that we didn't get penalized worse than this.

To simplify it your boys the Patriots got a slap on the wrist.

Get it now?

And how is the best way to penalize the entire organization?

Take away the brain-trust for a good chunk of the season.

It is ridiculous to think that an on-field cameraman, taking pictures to aid the coaching staff, that Belichick is on record saying he put on the field to do just that, is the fault of anyone but Bill Belichick.

Cut the whining and concentrate on your own team, which I presume is the Dallas Cowboys.
However, some here are so obsessed with Belichick/the Patriots it is difficult to tell.
If taking signals from a bad team that the Patriots could win against with its second string so much bothers you, then some serious analysis is in order.

Cowboys good. Root for them.
Patriots are in another conference, thus, why get all in a lather?
Wade Wilson played with a substance banned by the NFL. he got caught. He should have known better. Life happens.

How about you follow your own sig line than huh? You know don't like it don't read it.

I'll simplify it for you.

The Cowboys play in the NFL.

What the Patriots did impacts the NFL.

The slap on the wrist they got, tarnishes the NFL that Dallas plays in.

That impacts fans of every NFL team.

Too bad you are so busy working on your lame attempt at old time journalism...the key word is lame...that you can't understand that simple connection.

In college, they take away scholarships, and ban the offender from postseason play... why wouldn't that be a good approach for the NFL as well?? Forfeited draft picks, and no playoffs...
