What Player Don't you Want at 24?

A WR in general. I Don't see any of the first round receivers being leaps and bounds better than those with day 2 grades.

Not sure I want Linderbaum either. Not that I think he won't be a good player, but i don't see Center as a position of need. Biadasz is starter quality and with a full offseason, training camp, and strength training, his blemishes can be improved if not outright fixed. If we go Olineman i would rather it be a guard with position flex to slide in at center or out to tackle.

Like many here have said i don't want Ojabo. Let someone else take on that project.

After this offseason, Center is like priority 10 for this team. I don't see anyway we take him if available, with DE, WR, G, LB, S being more pressing needs now

I think given the pressing needs heading into this season at other positions, replacing Biadasz is less a priority.

That said, I think he is a weak link. He had a full off-season last year. I think he’s a low ceiling player. Not all players are destined to become great players with just more off-season training. There’s a reason why rosters churn and the average NFL career is 3-4 years.

I agree. And the fact that he seemed to get worse instead of better as the season went along is concerning.

I don’t think Biadasz will be anything more than starter quality at best but any strength added in the off-season will help from how easily he gets bull rushed back into Dak at times. I’m fine with him being the weak link on the line this year. Better then having a guard that constantly kills drives with obvious holding penalties.

Linderbaum, Green, and Johnson. I think you can find interior players later in the draft that can be just as good. Use the 24th pick for a prime position.

Linderbaum is a legit C. I think there is a pretty big drop off between him and other Cs in this draft. Well maybe the kid from BC, Lindstrom might be close.

If Linderbaum is there at 24, you take him. You don't take a WR, for example, there in that scenario.

I’ll personally miss xwalker’s threads telling us how good C. Williams supposedly is.

Fair enough, but still see him sliding on draft night.

It’s entirely possible…2 off-ball 4-3 LB’s going top 23 shouldn’t be a lock by any means. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if 1 of Lloyd or Dean are there for us

The Cowboys will not take Linderbaum. He is all technique. I bet our scouts have Tyler Smith rated ahead of him.

At this point we can use just about everything. Don’t get cute. Take the BPA on your board.

I’m usually 99% BPA…but I’m not sure I could back any WR.

Trading a 1st for 2.5 years of Amari, and then dumping him for unused cap space only to replace him with another 1st round pick is an all time dumb roster building decision…even for Jerry

Yes, so we can continue losing due to big weaknesses!!!!! That's the answer, don't bother w/ a plan or a blueprint or anything troublesome like that, just take any ol' player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys who think we should take a WR in the 1st have been falling for Jerry spew. Just taking someone because you think they might be good w/ no regard for scheme, needs, or anything of that sort is why we remain a team that is .500 or loses in the 1st round of the playoffs. BPA is a ridiculous strategy before round 4, I have no idea how people have fallen so badly in love w/ screaming it. Taco was BPA.

I’m not taking an inferior player to fill a need.

If Taco was BPA then our scouts got it all wrong. Seems like a need pick since we were supposed to be interested in Tak who went off the board a couple picks earlier.

You talking about Tyler Smith from Tulsa? He's been viewed mostly as a Day 2 guy.

Yeah. Someone to watch moving up the rankings. He might be a first round selection. I would be for Linderbaum if we had a similar blocking scheme as the Eagles.
