I see a lot of Deion votes for defense (and I get it) but, honestly, if I could bring back one defensive player in his prime it would be Demarcus Ware. Running that NASCAR D-line that the Giants used to make Brady (and the rest of the league for that matter) wet their pants could make this defense All-Time elite. Ware, Micah, Armstrong, and Lawrence hunting your QB all day? Pshhhhh. Game over.

Offensive Player? Like others, I'd love to see Romo get a shot with a defense this good. And he's proven that he can take mediocre WRs and get them to produce. The dude had his warts, for sure, but I would still liked to have seen him get a shot.

Troy, Larry Allen, Irvin…..especially Irvin and Allen, two position which would benefit most from an upgrade. Dak has his moments…but I’d love to see what prime Troy could do in this offense, a passing offense and league.

Actually, I change my answer.

We have Dak now. And he's a capable bus driver.

We have a few guys at TE, some who are more like Witten, and one a little like Novacek. So I think we're good there.

We've got guys who can do what Haley did, so we're good there.

I kind of want to say the easy answer here is Larry Allen.

Final answer.

If you could bring any player from the past in their prime to play for Dallas now. Must be a Cowboys player. What player would that be? What player would help the team the most?

Michael Irvin

He would bring some dog into this offense.

No offense or disrespect to Mr. Pearson (hut-hut!)... But Mike's 88 NEEDS to be retired!!

Roger, Troy, or even Tony…right now any good QB would elevate us to serious contenders

Sean Lee with ability to anticipate the play prior to the snap. Our run D would immediately improve IMMENSELY!!!

Emmitt all day baby…that’s a 100 on the ground easy, that open the field for the pass. The d is good and has some depth. Would love to see Emmitt pound the rock for 4-5 each time, then maybe break one. Truly under appreciated and disrespected now days in my opinion.

Bob Hayes, imagine that speed taking the lid off defenses all game long.
