Jerry, how long are you awaiting before you give Kellen Moore the HC job?

We all know the Jones boys love the spotlight. Jerry and Stephen both have their own weekly radio shows during the season. Is there another team in the NFL where TWO front office executives have a weekly radio show?

Have you ever had a list of questions you wish Cowboys beat writers or NFL media types would ask the Jones cartel? If so what would you want those questions to be?

Here’s my incomplete list of questions I wish Jerry would be asked:
  • What is this team’s philosophy that you are building the roster around?
  • How would you define a “successful season” in Dallas?
  • Why should fans trust your ability to put together a championship team after 3 playoff wins in 26 years?
  • How are you accountable to this fan base?
  • How do you prepare for free agency and the draft as a GM?
  • How much time would you say you spend weekly as a GM?
  • Which current or past NFL GM who has had success you would most like to be compared with?
  • Who makes the personnel decisions here now?
  • What is the most important quality you are looking for in a head coach?
  • Would you ever consider selling this team?
Questions I would like to see Stephen asked:
  • What is this team’s philosophy that you are building the roster around?
  • What qualifications did you have for the position you currently hold?
  • Who has most influenced your style as VP of Football Operations?
  • Why should Cowboys fans have faith in your ability to put a championship team together?
  • What was your role in putting those SB teams together in the 90s?
  • What other NFL executive would you compare yourself to?
  • How would you define a “successful season” in Dallas?
  • How are you personally held accountable in this organization?
  • How would you describe your job security?
  • What must happen for you to keep your job?
What else? What questions would you like to see answered?

"When will the sale of the team be finalized?" :muttley:

Here's the ultimate question....

"No other pro sports franchise is structured the way yours is. Its not at all a small sample size. You have not had success with that model. Why should anyone believe in it moving forward?"

Answer: "We are always working to get better. No one puts in more time than us as far as meeting with our staff, and willingness to do what it takes to succeed."

Followed by this......

"Do you feel as though the coaching staff is undermined by the owners being the face of the franchise and seemingly the ones to answer to?"

Answer: "We have a certain atmosphere that we believe is conducive to winning. Our fans are important, we want to keep them informed, and we don't believe that has any impact on the staffs ability to do their jobs."

It's the lack of FOLLOW UP questions that are the problem......as in.....whatever you think or believe doesn't WORK.

The real question is why do the media not ask these questions? It’s like they are scared

As fans, we're involved as witnesses of an unusual scenario, whereby, the owner and his son, the VP, are in denial of their actual limitations. Their over-inflated egos will cause them to persist in vehemently denying their shortcomings. Very seldom will there be exceptions, unless the truth is undeniably exposed to one and all. Once in a blue moon, Jerry has admitted to being less than all-knowing in matters of his performance. Such occasions are rare enough to make us wonder what got into him and perhaps even, how long it might last. Not too long, if the past is any indication -- it's revulsive.

I think some of the local guys like the perks. The free liquor and food at events the Jones throw is intoxicating in some ways to these guys. There are a few who call the Jones out. Craig Miller, Bob Sturm, Jake Kemp, Mike Rhyner, Dale Hanson, Randy Galloway…although Rhyner, Hanson and Galloway are all retired now.

I get that. Jerry apparently goes after people that challenge him.

Is there anyone in the local Dallas media that could challenge these idiots and not lose their jobs?

Gotta be at least one.

Probably has been "entertained" by Jerry on dozens of occasions so.....nevermind.

Same way the governor of Nevada came around eventually in G2 lol.

What’s the yearly budget allocation for FO staff parties?

How many children do you actually have out there?

Would you rather have diarrhea or constipation?

I want some one to ask them who evaluates their own talent. Not someone inside that knows the players, coaches, owners, but what people outside the organization evaluate them and give advice to the Jones. Then when Jerry gives any answer -- tell him he needs to fire them whether they are family, internal or external.

Would love to see Jerry asked, “Who is the best head coach you ever hired?”
Would love to see SJ asked, “Are you on a 5 year contract? Or is it lifetime?”

Why are you waiting for the draft to address the offensive line when you have almost $20m in CAP space?

Jerry - When is Jimmy going in the ring of honor?
Stephen - When is your dad going to put Jimmy in the ring of honor?
this should be asked in every PC they have! Drive them crazy with it.
Fans should take signs to stadium saying put Jimmy in ROH!

you have been trying for over 25 years to build a SB team ! Jimmy did it in just 4 years, how much longer do you need to actually win another SB?

If you won a SB in next 5 years, which would be 30 years , how would that compare to or be better to what Jimmy did in 4 years?

Simple math Jerry, Jimmy did it in 4 years, and your now in 26th year, so even if you win SB now, you dont even come close to Jimmy, that window
closed 20 years ago! You can never do what he did, you are just torturing cowboy fans and making a fool of yourself.

Even if you win a SB now it doesnt compare in any way except very badly to what Jimmy did in 4 years, so why do you keep going?? Whats the point?
