Why have you 2 been asleep at the wheel for the last 25 years?
I would like a logical, well thought out answer as to why you both believe you deserve to keep your jobs?
And last but not least...............
Why in the heck did you have to buy the Cowboys?

“What does the word ‘nepotism’ mean to you?”

“Jerry, you just said the team is in a better place in 2022 than at this time in 2021– can you help me understand how swapping Washington for Cooper and Fowler for Gregory, while also dumping Collins and Jarwin has you in a better position?”

Answer: “Our cap went from being as thin as a G string on a mosquito to as fat as John Goodman at a Chinese buffet”

Follow up: “Can you explain to the fans why having cap room you don’t use to sign any impact players should give them hope for the future?”

“Finally Jerry… they say doing the same thing repeatedly but expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Can you articulate why you think continuing to use your philosophical approach will yield different results than it has over the past 26 years?”

Outstanding. Send these to David Moore, beat writer who covers the ‘Boys for that morning Dallas newspaper.

The real question is why do the media not ask these questions? It’s like they are scared

They're afraid to lose the ability to cover the Cowboys if they piss Jerry off. In Dallas you probably will lose your job if you can't cover the Cowboys.

We all know the Jones boys love the spotlight. Jerry and Stephen both have their own weekly radio shows during the season. Is there another team in the NFL where TWO front office executives have a weekly radio show?

Have you ever had a list of questions you wish Cowboys beat writers or NFL media types would ask the Jones cartel? If so what would you want those questions to be?

Here’s my incomplete list of questions I wish Jerry would be asked:
  • What is this team’s philosophy that you are building the roster around?
  • How would you define a “successful season” in Dallas?
  • Why should fans trust your ability to put together a championship team after 3 playoff wins in 26 years?
  • How are you accountable to this fan base?
  • How do you prepare for free agency and the draft as a GM?
  • How much time would you say you spend weekly as a GM?
  • Which current or past NFL GM who has had success you would most like to be compared with?
  • Who makes the personnel decisions here now?
  • What is the most important quality you are looking for in a head coach?
  • Would you ever consider selling this team?
Questions I would like to see Stephen asked:
  • What is this team’s philosophy that you are building the roster around?
  • What qualifications did you have for the position you currently hold?
  • Who has most influenced your style as VP of Football Operations?
  • Why should Cowboys fans have faith in your ability to put a championship team together?
  • What was your role in putting those SB teams together in the 90s?
  • What other NFL executive would you compare yourself to?
  • How would you define a “successful season” in Dallas?
  • How are you personally held accountable in this organization?
  • How would you describe your job security?
  • What must happen for you to keep your job?
What else? What questions would you like to see answered?

Is there a buyer interested in the DallasCowboys who can end your woe.

Are you still cheating on your wife?

How do you account for the team's performance the past 26 years?

What, exactly, is the team's "process"?

Have you ever thought about producing your own bourbon or single malt?

Among your questions:

- What is the most important quality you are looking for in a head coach?
- Which current or past NFL GM who has had success you would most like to be compared with ?
- How would you define a “successful season” in Dallas?

My own question: Why will the Cowboys Not invest in at least a single middle-ground impact vet starter (ala Charles Haley) whether free agency or trade that can help be that higher helping step to get over the playoff obstacle hump ?

. I prefer addressing both the Jones at the same time, ala pre-draft, post- draft, but generally that kind of press conference discussions is gonna be geared for draft strategics, free agency, roster changes, directions, and structure.

Let’s be real, some questions such as “ which Jones makes the personnel decisions here now ? “ are gonna be downplayed and detoured,
" i don't wanna get into all that but lets just say it's a team decision, and a team panel decides. .. "

Jerry - When is Jimmy going in the ring of honor?
Stephen - When is your dad going to put Jimmy in the ring of honor?

I think he answered this question to Fisher when he stated that was a three minute decision, and he has other things to think about right now.

How much deliberation does it take to get to a three minute decision? About three minutes?

The real answer is in between right now and never, but something tells me there is a lot of emotion and crow that he would have to eat to put him in the ring.

If I was being facetious i'd say it doesnt matter as his response is always to put himself in the best light.

A specific Question this season, as @sydia (and many others have made this offseason.

"You were willing to pay Gregory (assume the same as Denver) $5m (2021) and $16m (2022), but Za'Darius got less $3m and $14m.....did you: a) actually offer Smith that money (and he turned us down), b) don't think Smith is worth as much as Gregory and/or c) explain why dont think your strategies appear inconsistent and changes upon personal opinions of individuals?
