I'll tell you what Grinds my Gears...........

Being a loyal DirectTV subscriber for 8 years, having the "premiere" package the entire time, and the Sunday Ticket since its inception, and then seeing that a new subscriber can obtain the same package for almost half of what I pay per month.

Cable companies who brag about how many channels they are offering you when 60% of them you would never watch in the first place. Then they put one channel you would watch (NFL Network) in an upgrade package with 10 other channels you wouldn't and don't understand why you would think the extra cost is not a good deal because you'd have 11 more channels to your already amazing number of channels.

It is time to make the Channels we get be ones we are willing to pay for. I guarantee I would save money and be a happier customer.

They'd make more actually because more people would subscribe to cable if it was affordable to what they enjoy.

Something that just now grinded my gears...


I call DirecTV and ask them why I'm paying more for a package than what's listed on their site. So they switch me and tell me that NOTHING will change, only the price.

And, of course, now I have no HD channels. Guess "Nothing will change" doesn't mean what I thought it meant.

Drivers that cox-block a 2-lane road by matching the pace of the person in the other lane.

National chain stores whose store hours are incorrect on the "Find Location" website feature.

Rubbernecking.

Road intersections where there is no stoplight, but there is a desperate need for one (i.e. the left turn takes forever because there are always cars coming from one direction or the other) then the timid driver in front of you that won't take the opportunity to go because they see a car coming.
