What receiver should they sign?

Could be Turpin struggles running routes.
He’s not running routes that fit him. You just want him getting the ball in space. He’s not a guy you send deep just because he has speed. Just get the ball in his hands. Short routes, crossing routes, swing passes, just get him the ball and let him use those return skills

Should they overpay for Kupp? Should they sign Tyler Lockett, Amari Cooper, or Diggs coming off the injury? I wouldn't do Diggs because of the injury. I doubt they would bring Cooper back. I would lean toward an overpay for Kupp on a 2 year deal. My 2nd choice would be Lockett.

That still wouldn't stop me from drafting a top receiver in the draft like Tet McMillan or Emeka Egbuka.
Unless the WR is extremely elite (Dez, Irvin, not Lamb), I would pass on drafting a WR in the first round, Pearson, Hill, and Austin prove this fact.

Sign Cooper. His YPC was nearly 15. He playoff stats as a Cowboy is still better than Lamb and he has been gone for 3 years scoring a TD in every Cowboys playoff game. Kupp is washed up.

Spend your premium picks 1-3 at DT, LB, LT, or DE picks 5-6 at CB, S, T, and picks 7 at WR.

Kupp is not washed up and a lot of teams are showing interest in him and they should.

LOL, Dallas will not sign Cooper…even if he paid them. I don’t understand how fans of the team don’t understand simple things like that. Maybe it would be a good idea, maybe he is the best available, but Jerry would NEVER do it.

Pretty sure this draft is very weak at LB and OT, so it seems like using picks in rounds 1-3 really doesn’t make much sense. DT and DE are deep so you don’t have to force an early pick.

We still need a RB, so it and WR should be high on the list.

I think he should be used a lot like we used Beasley in 2016. Quick in and out breaking routes as the bigger receivers clear out the area.

Cooper ( Dak has history with him and might actually throw him the ball instead of only looking towards Ceedee
I also like TL but would only sign either if Team friendly deal

That's probably the only way to move the needle at the position. Maybe get Golden in round 1. I wouldn't mind the speed.
Have the speed in Turpin already. Get a guy who can open up more options for he and Lamb. And hope Dak can hit the deep when needed

Kind of yeah. I see your point but Turpin has been more of a get the ball in space type of speed than a reliable deep threat.

He can and has made those deep options I'm not sure he'll ever be reliable with that part of his game though. I don't see him as more than a wr3 either, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Diggs - elite skill set
Allen - makes play
Lockett - fast, knows HC
R. Woods -Cheap
Are the only guys left Dallas show look at.

At this point, I prefer the draft.

Get Tet McMillan or Egbuka in the draft, if available. For a vet, Lockett may be a worthwhile deal.

cooks vs Kupps Carrer stats not as big a gap as you think so the DC FO has brought over similar players.

Actually, maybe fans like you don't understand there have been moments to say he wouldn't sign a player like this ., Umm traded for Cooper in 2018 with #1 pick and paid him big. but at the trade he was due 13M in 2019..wasnt a FA but still added in trade a player making more than 10M..

the problem is Kupp is on the decline just like Samuel's, their name is carrying them into free agency and they're going to be overpaid, and fans are going to overrate them, but a guy like Brandin cooks when he was brought here for 5th rounder making 8M, he was up at about the same stage of his career as Kupp..

Look, I know they were slightly separation in the type of careers they've had, but at this point in their careers there wasn't much of a difference there are other guys out there to be had that like Jerry should go out there and over bid for a player that's in decline it's a fan narrative you think it's bad and this is business you can't go all out for a guy you're not sure is going to actually produce on the field and match the money..

there's a reason he's being released, he's making too much money for his production, which is a lot of the free agents out there ,the big tier one free agents are the ones with the biggest names are asking for too much money and that's why they're being traded or cut. And the carousel continues with these veterans you realize obj and Hopkins they're just moving around and there's had a big gap between any of them...

Let this sink in literally, Tolbert that's right the much hated allegedly he's a bust, and not going anywhere,

last year with mostly a backup quarterback and not much of an offense not much of a team his numbers were almost the same as Samuel's and Kupp, you have keep things in real perspective , and keep your emotions out of it, I know what you would love to have here it would be nice to have some of these players but to act like they are a must like it's absolutely necessary for a team to win is overpaying for free agents in decline..

Newsflash; it's not...

there are other guys out there and maybe we'll pick up Allen ,bring back Cooper ,maybe it'll be diggs, but just like Brandin cooks they will find a veteran to bring in here, this new coaching staff is actually helping bring in a different set of players at all positions, and it's obvious they're working with the front office to get "their guys" whoever that might be will end up here..

Two teams very interested in signing free agent WR Cooper Kupp, according to league sources? The Seahawks and Cowboys.

Kupp is expected to make his decision today.

Not sure why you quoted me on this. All I said is Jerry will never resign Cooper. It was a personal decision to let him go, we gave him away and it hurt our cap but that didn't matter. Jerry wasn't going to put up with Cooper.

The Cowboys are desperate for some offensive help, and one of the best wide receivers in the league has hit the open market.

After being released by the Los Angeles Rams, Cooper Kupp is officially a free agent.

Kupp's availability has seemingly peaked the interest of the Cowboys, who are interested in signing him.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Dallas is "making a push" and "working on a contract for Kupp.
