On film, Mazi has made some improvement. He's not flashy and he isn't going to be Aaron Donald. But he's a worker. That said, using a 1st round pick on him was probably a reach. if he were a 2nd or 3rd Rd pick, he'd look better and would have a longer opportunity to develop.

Those 1st rounders gotta be immediate impact guys. 2025 is his last chance to prove he was worth that 1st round pick.

^^This. Mazi had a mid season stretch last season where he graded out among the top half of all NFL DT's. He did improve last season, but it went unnoticed because so many people have a preconceived notion that he sucks and have written him off as a bust.

Three or four games against pretty lousy O lines and you think Mazi is something

It will be another weak draft class. We will reach for a player probably another OL who underwhelms again when we should be doing what we can to go get a stud RB. Anyways this HC sucks. That’s all.
