What running back do you want to see the Cowboys draft

I went with Sampson. I think he is 3rd rounder in this draft, and he'll outplay his draft position by at least a full round imo

I have stated multiple times that I want them to draft Damien Martinez from Miami (formerly of Oregon State). He's a hammer and a local kid who doesn't have a ridiculous amount of wear on him, but he can help bring an attitude to the offense in the run game with how physical he is. And, best of all, he would likely be available on Day 3.

Haven't heard those yet - he's only got 1 year left on his rookie deal, so it probably wouldn't cost more than a 5th to get him. I wouldn't hate it, but would only be likely a 1 year rental.

I fear all the top RBs are going to go off the board between our picks like the last 2 years.
Just draft Jeanty if he's on the board and erase RB off your problems list. Hampton most likely won't fall to our 2nd round pick and Kaleb Johnson won't make it to our 3rd.
I don't want to be stuck in RB no mans land again even if the Cowboys have to reach for one.
I think Skattebo is worthy of a 3rd rounder if he's there.

Henderson or Sampson in 3

Gordon in 5

I'm ok with any of those options. Other than Hampton, Johnson or Jeanty we'd require another quality back for a committee whether that's another guy late or a cheaper FA.

My overall preference would be Henderson in 3. I want an explosive back that can take advantage of what was pretty good run blocking to end the year. Short yardage backs are plentiful and cheap.
