What Scares Me About the Offseason

Petitti - rookie
They both come back and play much better next year. We have been through this whole argument every day for the last month.

Yeah.
Well most teams goes into the season liking what they look like on paper too.
Doesn't always pan out, and you better darn well have a backup plan if it doesn't. Capiche???

Rivera = 34 year old with a BAD BACK. Can an old guy heal as well as a young guy and regain his explosiveness??? Highly questionable at best.

Petitti = rookie who got worse as the year got along and was bad to start with. Trusting an important tackle spot with a guy like that is an even bigger gamble.
