My experience is based on other stadiums but I'd rather get to bed early on Saturday night and show up as soon as the gates open and tailgate until the stands open up on Sunday. By far, for me, tailgating with other fans is extremely fun. Sharing food and talking football (throwing the ball around too) is a blast.Bringing my whole family to the game from Maryland. What should we do Saturday night? any places where ex-players hang out?
We're up for anything.
Thanks in advance for any help

Depending on where you’re staying, it might be fun to check out Texas Live and watch some college football there on the big screens.Bringing my whole family to the game from Maryland. What should we do Saturday night? any places where ex-players hang out?

exactly, i live in ARL and don't go there much, TL charges to get in the main area and if you want to reserve a table also charges extra $$ its crowded and hard to find seat many times.. crooks. i rather go to Boomerjacks or whatever if i go out to watch a game..no price gouging. I understand on LIVE gamedays for rangers or Cowboys but i tried to get table on Sunday at 2pm 2 weeks ago, no games at all going on around Live yet same things charge to get in or to get table reserved..ughhWhere are you staying at?
Anyone under 21?
Some one mentioned Texas Live...but be prepared for beers as expensive as Jerry World in some of the places in there.
Texas Live does have Troy's....who knows Troy himself may even be there. When his new beer came out, I think it is called 8, he was there and at another place where it made it's debut, serving beers.
They do have a live band there every night. But probably C&W bands, not sure if and rock or classic rock or blues mixed in.
There is a Six Flags not too far from the stadium.
State fair in Dallas is going on..not close to Arlington but it is an activity but last day is sunday.Bringing my whole family to the game from Maryland. What should we do Saturday night? any places where ex-players hang out?

Check out the Stockyards in Fort Worth. The new Mule alley is real nice.
I second this. The Stockyards can be a lot of fun. You are in Texas so Tex-Mex is a must. If you are in the Stockyard/Ft Worth area then give Joe T Garcia's a try. You have to get their early because it gets busy. Try to get a seat outside if the weather is nice.
