Buy an 8 ball, hire an Instagram model, rent a suite at the Marriott and all present and former players will come hang with you.
I didn't know that they were called Instagram models these days...

Whatever you do, take time to eat lots of Mexican and Tex-Mex while here. I prefer Austin tex-Mex but you are not going there.

Bringing my whole family to the game from Maryland. What should we do Saturday night? any places where ex-players hang out?

We're up for anything.

Thanks in advance for any help

Do whatever you like but don't beat the wife nor be an a-hole.
Otherwise, karma will get you. Have fun and be fun yourself.

Discuss what it might be that you'd all enjoy and enjoy yourselves!

TEXAS LIVE, take both stadium tours, go to Walmart, and pro shops, find a Whataburger, nothing else really to do!!

six flags, medieval times, Fort Worth Stock Yards, BBQ restaurants, The Star,
There’s a ton to do in DFW

Wow.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!!

We're landing 12 on Saturday and doing the Tour of the Star at 3:00. My boys (24, 22, 18) are going to the Mavs game, so my wife and i will be in the Dallas area after we drop them off. anything TexMex suggestions downtown?

And we plan on getting to the stadium early. Are fans cool with someone crashing their tailgating?

And are the players still around post game for autographs? my boys all want to try to get jerseys signed.

This community is amazing!!!!!

How 'bout them COWBOYS!!!!

Rated best bar-b-que in Texas by Texas Monthly. Two things.

Go early because there WILL BE A LINE.

Second is this is in Deep Ellum, and after dark that part of town can be dicey. Lots of clubs and bars, and people. If you are bringing the whole family, try to eat there early.

I’m thinking you win the award for best response in this thread! Are you a travel agent?!

TEXAS LIVE is the place to go for drinks. Several bars, giant TV screens and places to eat. Right by the Rangers ballpark, but still very close to the Cowboys stadium. Some decent food (Lockhart Smokehouse is pretty good), but in general the food isn't special. Might be crowded the night before a game though.

Not sure where you are from, or what your budget is, but if you've never been to Pappadeaux it's definitely a worthwhile dining experience. I apologize if you're already familiar with it, but if you're not, it's a small mainly Texas restaurant chain with locations mainly in the Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin areas. Mostly seafood with a cajun flair, but you can get steaks too if that's your preference. You should make a reservation unless you go before the dinner crowd starts coming in. Probably should anyway with a large party. It's within a mile of the stadium.

You could also do a tour of the stadium, but I assume those are shut down by maybe 6-7 o'clock. They have (or at least used to have) guided and self-guided. Advantage of self-guided is less expensive, but disadvantage is your access to areas of the stadium is more limited.

If you're a baseball fan you could also tour the Ranger's stadium.

Six Flags is also right in that area as well if thrill rides interest you.

The Historic Fort Worth Stockyards is about 20 miles down I-35. It's got a lot of the flavor of the old history of "Cowtown" as Fort Worth is often called, but now is also an entertainment district with restaurants, bars and shopping

I hope this helps

There is a Six Flags not too far from the stadium.

@ljs44 If you and your family enjoy amusement parks this is a GREAT idea. Especially if you have Six Flags season passes, because it's free. Well it used to be when we use to go. When our kids were younger we would take the drive up from San Antonio because it's way WAY better than the Six Flags Fiesta Texas we have here. When our son graduated from the Marines we went to Six Flags Magic Mountain and we all thought it was better than that park. They have it all. Great coasters for adults and a lot of rides for the little kids too. This is the best time to go too because it's cooler and less people.

Whatever you do have fun and be safe. And GO COWBOYS!!

Go to the Kennedy assination spot. Happened long ago but it's still very interesting. I think there is an amusement park? Not sure.
