That's true with every team not just the Cowboys. But for every Walls there are 100 players who don’t even make the team.

Not wrong. That's true with every team not just the Cowboys.
With no end in sight.Every team is staring down the barrel of a 30 year ”drought” though.
I don’t know but not many 3rd year first round picks are rotational. Especially when they aren’t sitting behind a stud.Unfortunately, he might end up being just a rotational piece.
I believe the only way we're getting Jeanty is if we trade up.I would pass on getting another wide receiver in the 1st or 2nd round of draft. Let's see what dallas has right now and go ahead and draft Jeanty since Dallas desparately needs a running back to help relieve some of the pressure on Dak.
The most devastated I've ever been during the draft was when the NFL allowed Jalen Carter to fall to the Eagles. Crushed me.They struggle coming up with one because they put very limited resources into it. Compare what the Eagles have done with the Cowboys. Then look at what happened in the super bowl. They dominated and won a championship while we ate popcorn and watched.
Yeah WR2 is important, but it's lights years from being important as DT.
And I'm not a fan of doing that in this draft there's too many good running backs no way I'm drafting up for him... Now if he falls to us going to be tough to pass on him given the need for WR2 , IDT, MLB, pass rusher and for sure Corner..I believe the only way we're getting Jeanty is if we trade up.
Stop gap for what? Making plays on the field? Dallas has too much youth and inexperience at WR. Get a dude in the locker room that can still produce while showing the young guys how to do it.why delay? if they sign Allen, then he is stop gap....and we have needs at DT and CB...I know we are not letting Diggs go this year, and he will suck for another year and jerry will let him walk next year....but if they don't sign Allen, they have to draft one early...I say in the first, not saying at 12, but perhaps trade down a bit and get value...
Now that is simple and well put.I care about DT much more than WR2. Like, light years more.
The Cowboys can win with a bunch of WR3's. They can't win if they don't stop the run.
They are this year, unless they foolishly go CB or WR in the 1st.We invested a first round pick on DT two years and he hasn’t panned out. We’ve been forced to reach to try and find a dominant player at the position. Philly got lucky having a top 5 pick enabling them to land a great DT. The Cowboys haven’t been in position to land a great DT.
This is absolutely true and a very solid argument. Don't waste FA money or a top pick on a WR, as that addition will not be a needle-mover for this current squad.RB is a far greater need since our QB throws 80% of his passes to Lamb or TE. Those numbers won't change, probably ever.
More like WR4.Tolbert is WR2.
Yeah, they prolly started the rumors about him causing him to fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The most devastated I've ever been during the draft was when the NFL allowed Jalen Carter to fall to the Eagles. Crushed me.
As bad as that was, I'll never ever forget Randy Moss or T.J. Watt. The most devastated I've ever been during the draft was when the NFL allowed Jalen Carter to fall to the Eagles. Crushed me.
This FO hasn't done anything of note at the position, so as of now they have their guy in Tolbert. Maybe they'll draft a guy or sign Keenan Allen.More like WR4.
DT matters who is there. At 44 if Grant were available he would make sense. Although he's another Michigan DL.I don’t know but not many 3rd year first round picks are rotational. Especially when they aren’t sitting behind a stud.
Maybe I’m wrong I just don’t see DT till pick 76 or later. Now maybe DE is Scourton is there at 44. I doubt he will be though
Yeah those are good choices for sure!As bad as that was, I'll never ever forget Randy Moss or T.J. Watt.
