What songs in the 1980s and 1990s and 2000s

Were overplayed on the radio in Texas so much you couldn't stand hearing them anymore? Up here in Wisconsin I would like to say Like a Prayer by Madonna was played a crap ton in the 80s or Late 80s but still the 80s. The Sign by Ace of Base nobody could get away from in the 90s. 2000s I would have to go with Bad day by Daniel Powter.

Just right off the top of my head, growing up in the vicinity of Houston and getting their radio channels and tv stations, we were pounded into the turf back in the 70s/80s by that classic song "Love Ya Blue". Ugghhh. It was like an anthem to the Oilers. lol

As far as actual songs go, though, really I remember New Year's Day by U2 being severely overplayed. Ten years later, they did the same thing with a Pearl Jam song, either Alive or Evenflow. It was one of them. Or maybe both. lol. I love Pearl Jam and U2 both, but man, they could overplay their stuff.

Another one was Man In The Box by my beloved Alice In Chains. It was so overplayed back in the day that I still have trouble listening to it today. Don't have any trouble listening to the rest of them, though, and in reality, they have so much that is so much better, anyway.

Anything by Huey Lewis in the News, The Cars, Madonna...... 90s & 2000s Ace of Base and The Cardigans just any bubble gum pop act..Brittaney Spears,NSync,

Rush songs. I now hate Rush. 97.1 the Eagle used to play a Rush song every 3rd song they played. Man it was horrible!
