Sorry LM but flippant remarks like this are a recipe for disaster because of the mindset they reflect
What did the skins have ? But they best us like a rented mule

When you're unprepared you're unprepared

I hope our coaches think more rationally and clearly

they are but im sure they arent scared beyond belief as some fans in this forum. Im sure theyre going into sunday thinking were going to run the ball down their throats

Nobody in this forum is scared beyond belief.

We have had some trouble identifying and adjusting to blitzes this year in some ballgames. It's only logical to believe that Capers and the Packer's defense will incorporate the blitz as a major part of their gameplan during passing downs.

Just because Det was able to blitz and have success against the cowboys doesnt mean GB can. There is a big difference in talent on defense. As we saw 13 games out of 16 in regular season. Dallas ate up that blitz. I like those odds

Detroit has an amazing front. That's the key to a good blitz is getting beat on the line. We got killed the first 3 quarter against Detroit's front. Not sure if the Packers can do that against the talent we have.

Washington didn't beat us with their blitzes because they had great talent.

Detroit's blitzes weren't successful because they had great personnel either. Those were just blown assignments.

Green Bay is going to send some heat, I just hope it doesn't take an entire half to adjust.

As I said before, there have been times where the blitz has given our offense fits and it wasn't just this past Sunday against the lions.

There is a good difference in talent between the Lions and the Packers but that doesn't change the notion that the Packers are probably going to put 8 or 9 in the box and send more defenders than we have blockers and from different directions. We can beat it but we also have shown that we can be susceptical to it as well.

Quick slants and screen passes to offset the blitz. Someone has to be open if they are stacking the box with 8 or 9 defenders.

Not taking anything away from Detroit front and beating blockers one on one absolutely makes a big difference in an effective blitz but the goal is to send more defenders at the QB than the offense has blockers and to try and confuse the QB as to where those extra rushing defenders are coming from.

The Packers can and will do that against us Sunday or attempt to atleast imo.

Can Green Bay's 23rd Ranked run defense slow down Demarco Murray without having to drop a Safety down in the box? Because if they can't, that's when this offense is a nightmare. If you can't bracket Dez with that extra safety because he's forced to commit to the run, he's gonna eat your lunch in 1 on 1 coverage.

I'm more worried about our defense.

I say play 2 man under, and maybe rush 4. I would cover everyone up so tight, that either Rodgers is forced to take a sack, or I'd dare him to pull it down and run(What most QB's do in man 2 man, with everyone with their back turned). If I'm Rod, I want him to run, and put more strain on his calf, maybe re injure it, without us having to attack him or it.

Prove he's 100. Once he does, you play him the best way you can play Rodgers at 100

All this blitzing has made us much more capable of handling it. Sure, we will have some sacks, but with Tony not rushing to make a bad throw we have shown we can just be patient and take our time to come back if we get behind.

These guys, unlike past teams, give us reason to believe.....
