What the Cowboys should do defensively this year

I think the Cowboys should switch to the 4-3, sign Dwight Feeney, and put him and Demarcus Ware on oposite sides of each other and see what happens.

Id rather see Ware and Freeney in the 3-4 myself. You cant have 2 260 DEs and expect to be effective vs the run.

Your sig needs some serious adjustments. Your living way in the past if you still want Moss, Jimmy and Dave. Why anyone would want a guy like Moss on their team is beyond me the guy is a mental midget who gives up the first sign of trouble.

What happened to Freeney this year? It seems like he tails off quite a bit esp at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see how he plays against the Ravens. I think its a buyer beware on him. Now we all know Adalius Thomas has played this system and that he could really help out Ware and this defense but how much do you want invested in your defense. Eventually we need to hit on some of these draft picks and free agents like the Steelers and the Patriots.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but no one is going to give up a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick for a guy who ruptured his achilles.

I agree, I just don't see anyone wanting to trade for Ellis, and with him "trying' to come back from the type of injury he had, plus his age, I just don't see who would want to trade for him.

freeney will never become a f.a.
ellis has no trade value coming off an injury
we ain't signing that many f.a.'s
jimmy ain't coming back

Just build a time machine, travel back to the 90s, and destroy whatever moron invented the salary cap. That's probably your best chance of getting that done.
