I understand Dak isn't Tom Brady, but what was he looking at or trying to do? What's the thought process?

bad throw. when you are running as he was, and throw, the ball will sail in the direction you re running. so given he was running left, he needed to stop, set his feet and throw. and he didn't do that and the ball sailed way out.

Cooks ran himself towards the sideline. Dak's first job was to look at the receivers inside since he was under pressure from the snap of the ball. Dak had to scramble from the snap of the ball, thus forcing him to look underneath first. By the time he saw Cooks running deep, Cooks was running towards the sideline instead of upfield towards the endzone. Simply ran himself out of space.

The right throw was to CeeDee in the middle. Easier throw, no one nearby, and cd could have turned that into a big play. Instead he stared down cooks the entire time, made a difficult throw, and in Dak fashion, wasn't even close.

He held the ball way too long. Saw this during the game and analyzed it. Like 3-4 seconds to long. He does this a lot and always has going way back.

If you look at how he had to throw the ball you'll understand the throw. He was throwing to the right guy, just had to throw it at the worst possible body position

If Tyron doesn’t get beat so quickly he would have been able to sit there and throw it to cooks who had warned beat. Not really Dak fault here. Oline was trash.
Bahaha hahaha BS it’s Daks fault he doesn’t understand how to throw the ball after setting his feet

The people who keep claiming Dallas WRs don’t get separation need to watch more tape. Every time I see all-22 film it’s clear Dak has options constantly.

He can’t read a D. He can’t anticipate. He certainly won’t throw anyone open. He’s a middle of the road starter who is still a roller coaster of highs and lows in year 8.

Dallas needs to move on.

..you can see two cowboy receivers open near the middle. Could just dumped over the middle. He just panicked, I think.

When Prescott as a rookie did what Purdy is doing, all I heard is it was because of all the talent around him.

Purdy shows a lot of poise and good decision-making, but the skill position talent on SF is absurd and he's throwing to guys wide open, with no defender within 10 yards. I've rarely seen him have to make truly tough throws. That offense is so good that all he has to do is not screw it up.
You didn’t watch the game, did you?
