oh, she'll "let" you.... first thing I woulda told her is "i AM going to watch the game and in fact, I'm going to take my plate to the living room and watch the game there"

how could you live with yourself sitting at a dinner table eating a meal while the cowboys play in the next room? bet that christmas dinner wouldn't taste so nice

Ditto what a few others said, we did the big Christmas dinner thing last night. Today it is left overs with everyone gathered around the TV.

Actually, I bought some guacamole and put some food coloring it in so I can have chips with blue dip. I have a few Eagles' fans coming over for the game so I want to make sure they know they're in our house today!!

uh, since my grandparents like to have the family together, i was gonna eat with them anyways. I'm all for scheduling around the game, but if that doesn't work out so be it.

I won't choose the cowboys over my family...as much as I would like to.

The same time the game is on :bang2:

My family has a knack of scheduling holiday family time when our games are on.

I'm cooking steaks at my parents house today. I plan to have everything done by 4:30 to be ready to watch the game at 5 (EST).

I was thinking about the halftime dinner thing, but 15 minutes isn't long enough.

What are your plans ?

Merry Christmas everyone !!!!
sir I haven't stopped eating since Friday night... it's a constant flow of cakes and cookies and tamales and menudo and jagaerschnitzel and beer and tea and coffee and ice cream and....alka-seltzer.

After this weekend I'll be so big that I'll have to sew together 4 of Flo's jerseys to make one for me.

About to put a big pot roast on. "too bad" i slow cook them about 5 hours, then of course it has to rest.

Hopefully there wont be an OT, or additional rest will be needed.

I've already eaten my feast... turkey, ham, dressing, mashed taters, cranberry sauce, and three servings of pie!

I'm ready to unbutton the top button on the ole pants pull an Al Bundy, and watch the Cowboys roll wearing my new Roy jersey!

A lady with true class. God bless your grandma. We eat at 3pm.

We've got to digest our food before the game. Hopefully the game will be the icing on the dessert.

Good Luck Cowboy fans. Merry Christmas. Win so next weeks game will be even more special....!!!!

You've got to beat the best to be the best anyway.

Family coming over at 1, hopefully going to get them to leave by 4:30. Any tips on getting guests out of your house in a 'nice' manner?

OK here's what you do.

Serve something that makes everyone have to go to the bathroom. (You stay away from said stuff). Take all the toilet paper and hide it except for about 6 sheets on a roll.

I promise, they will be gone fairly shortly and they will be the ones wanting to leave.

Oh yeah, you didn't hear this from me. :D

Do what I do. Simply tell them to get the F out. Havn't had people here in years.:D

Here's my suffering: dinner with the in laws at 4 PM. Watch the game at the in laws with 2 stinkin Eagle fans (one of which is my wife), and 2 Cowboy fans.....2 Cowboy fans that are 2 of 5 people in the world that think Beldsoe should still be starting (the other 3 being Bledsoe, Bledsoe's mom and Munchis)

What corner of hell do you live in?

Brown and Serve Rolls Dude, with Ham and Stuffing, Fresh Green Beans and real Macoroni and Cheese, Sweet Potato Yams with Marsh Mellows on top baked to golden brown. Pecan Pie, Ice Tea, a lefty and a righty, add your favorite Burbon, Crown Royal Reserve, have cold beer on hand for game.

Cool replies folks !

I'm in MW territory and its supposed to snow later up here Hos. Maybe I'll have my daughter tape it with the new camera and send ya a copy, teach you something about snowmobiling.

I've got a bottle of Grand Marnier and I'm getting ready to settle downstairs, let my daughter use the dial-up line for a while.

C-ya all after the game.

Patrick Crayton will get 2 TD's today.

Go Cowboys !

already had brunch and all i'll be consuming before, during and after the game will be red wine and munchies.
