Maybe this injury finished his career. If so it’s sad. But we don’t know after 2 games. Dak and Gallup needs to be back on target. If it stays this way then he will be replaced and Tolbert will take his spot.

If he's really finished the Cowboys can move on from him.

Tolbert played well today and is coming along. Cooks will be back after the Arizona game most likely and if Gallup shows nothing against the Cardinals it'll be logical to start working Tolbert to the slot position.

I imagine the Cowboys will be looking to draft a WR next year one way or another.

He’s invisible out there. Tolbert has clearly passed him on the depth chart. And he doesn’t play special teams. Once Cooks is healthy I would seriously think about benching him. Not getting any separation. Ever. Way overpaid. The “injury” discount caught cap boy again. I’ll be shocked if he’s on the team a year from now.
We need the depth . he'll be fine.

Gallup is out of gas. Tolbert is a better player right now and works for a tenth of his salary.

We have an out on Gallup's contract next year for $13M dead cap. Let's eat it and move on.

I don't know about Tolbert passing him but Gallup is massively overrated here and shouldn't be on the team next year.
He will most likely be a cap casualty.

Cut him and use that money to Biadazz

If Gallup doesnt start producing, something has to happen. Tolbert is probably a poor mans Cedrick Wilson, but that could enough

Gallup took some big shots to the head today. I counted 5 head to head hits on Dallas players and not 1 called. Gallup is tough

As far as what to do with him.... Continue playing him. Dallas will need everybody to push for a Superbowl

Very concerned.
The injury is not an excuse anymore.

I would say to have patience. It will work itself out one way or the other.

The problem is daks accuracy. We have finesse receivers we don't have a guy like Dez that can go up and battle for an errant throw, not even Lamb can do that.
Been saying this too anyone that will listen. McCarty is going to have to scheme it up inside the 10...because you cannot throw jump balls to these guys like we could Dez. We have ZERO bullies at WR. How are we going to determine Cee Dee worth? He is not a deep threat. He does not physically dominate. He is not a TD maker. Is he a Wes Welker type?

So we go 31/38 and you find the agenda to criticize the WR2 on the day. You dont even know what the play design was. You are aware that we're no longer playing the Air Coryel (everyone tries to get open) style and that there's more design (not: run, route, hope).
On the alternative to your point, our RB/TE and WR3, WR4 went 19/22. You need to change your mindset on what we trying to do......this isnt a Moore offense.

Lamb was in the slot against the Jet's third CB for much of the game.

So who do you think was covering Gallup?
Spot on, and some on here need to stop thinking that the game isnt about highlighting individuals (cough, cough Moore), we're playing the TCO where we're scheming for the WHOLE outcome rather than individuals.

I think someone needs to also point out, to these fans, about why we're using checkdowns (a lot of them to quick, high YAC RB's) and that they're actually factored into the play.....rather than a last resort.
