Really good breakdown of what the Commanders like to do offensively -

After blowing out the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6, the Dallas Cowboys travel to FedEx Field to face the 3-2 Washington Commanders. Like the Cowboys, Washington has yet to win two straight games. Both teams will seek to start a winning streak as well as earn the top spot in the NFC East.

Jay Gruden and his staff traded for former Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith in the off-season. They also signed Adrian Peterson in free agency after their second-round pick, Derrius Guice, tore his ACL in the pre-season.

Washington has used a versatile running scheme and an abundance of misdirection to carve out the divisions’ only winning record. Here’s a look at their offense and how they’ll attack Dallas:

I always expected deangelo hall to win the game for them or injure a cowboy. I am glad he is retired

..we have a good defense, that's what Wash is not expecting. Our offense seems to be turning a corner, that's what im expecting. Nonetheless, its probably going to be close game.

The eagles trapped us into oblivion last year. Especially effective against David Irving. This will be a big game for our linebackers to show up

True...but without him we would have never seen this...

Almost worth it...

This is a matchup where you throw everything out the window. The intense rivalry between these teams means anything can and will happen. Records and tendencies usually mean nothing.

No...I'd absolutely say they are expecting a good defense...they've seen the tape and are most likely hoping for a low scoring affair that they can keep close and capitalize on at the end, as has happened in the other Cowboys road affairs. If it's high scoring, that likely favors the Cowboys because I think the Cowboys are better on defense...

True...but I doubt that means the Commanders gameplan will be all that unique from what they've done so far this year. They will try to do the same kind of stuff...it just might mean a little more because of who the Cowboys are.
