Some old Dallas Cowboys Weeklies dating back to 1975.

Picture of the Hail Mary catch signed by Drew Pearson.

I used to have the DMN and DTH newspaper inserts for the 1966 and 1967 NFL Championship Games (as well as the inserts for SB 5 and 6). I have the original 1960 Cowboys media guide (and a complete run through 2009).

I have programs for SBs 5, 6, 10, 12 and 13 (as well as a complete run through 44). I have programs from almost every playoff game the Cowboys have been in, including the 1966 and 1967 NFL Championship Games.

I have a copy of the program for the 1972 College All Star game (the only one the Cowboys played in) and I have a program for one of the three Playoff Bowls the Cowboys were in during the 60s.

I have a copy of "Next Year's Champions" (1969) and "Dallas Cowboys: Pro or Con?" (1970), the first two books written about the Cowboys. I have a pretty extensive collection of books about the Cowboys (almost 300 titles). I don't collect many autographs, but I do try to get my books autographed when I can.

I also have football cards of Tom Landry from 1951 and 1952 (Bowman L and S) when Landry was a DB with the Giants. I also have complete Cowboys teamsets from 1960 to 1989 (I stopped collecting FB cards in the mid-90s; with the explosion of sets it got too expensive for me).

I don't have it yet, but I just ordered a 45 rpm of Tom Merriman's "Cowboy Stampede March", the original Cowboys fight song that longtime fans will recall from the 60s and 70s. I have the SB 6 and SB 12 high-light LPs. I also have the Cowboys Christmas LPs (and videos) from 1985 and 1986. I have the team highlight videos produced by NFL Films from 1965 to 1979.

I have a complete run of Dave Campbell's "Dallas Cowboys Outlook" from 1967 to 1984. I have a run of Cowboys calendars for both the team and DCC going back to about 1978. I have the Cowboys team photos back to 1960 and the DCC team photos back to 1972.

I have several copies of "Life with the Dallas Cowboys" from the 70s. This a promo brochure updated every year with highlights of the previous Cowboys season. It was sent to college athletes as a way to introduce them to the City of Dallas and to the Cowboys. Schramm & Brandt used this as a means to keep undrafted free agents thinking about the Cowboys when it was time to choose a team to tryout for.

I have a Danny White Corn Flakes box. I've got a lot more stuff than that, but I tried to limit my response to "vintage memorabilia" since that was the title of the thread.

I think we have a frontrunner. Man, you got a whole west wing of the house dedicated to cowboys? ( the 300 books alone must take up a whole wall.)

I collect a lot of stuff, not all of it related to the Cowboys.

For example, I have probably 100 different versions of the Bible in English, probably 25 books or more related to the history & break-up of AT&T back in the 80s, about 25 books related to the 2000 election & recount, fifty or so related to the Boy Scouts, and another fifty or so for the Texas Longhorns (I have most of their bowl programs dating back to the 50s). The books, magazines, football cards, videos, and other collectibles take up most of my office at home, and its a constant battle to keep my wife from tossing it all out!

I keep reminding her: there are much worse ways to blow money than books & magazines!

I've never been an autograph seeker or much of a collector.

Somewhere in a box being stored in the U.S., I have a January 1972 Life Magazine that has Staubach and Landry on the cover. In the same box are videotapes of the three 1990's Super Bowls as well as a few regular season games from that era.

That's it. Except for 40 years of wonderful memories.

Like many have posted, I have similar items. Autographed mini helmets, photos, football cards. Cowboys weeklies from late 70's and early 80's. And every issues from when Jerry bought the team through the 99 season, or 2000.
Countless yearbooks, media guides, newspaper of SB's, keychains, etc.

I also have most of the wins throughout the 90's on video tape. And one of Herschal Walker on a Monday night game vs. the Giants. Which I believe was his 1st game.

What I like the most of the videos, is a tape of the 92 season. I recorded all the highlights from all the games including the SB. Recorded different stations, ESPN Sportscenter, their show ESPN had on after the games, can't remember the name. CNN Sports [when they actually had a sports show with highlights. Inside the NFL, when it was on HBO.

And I think I have the local brodcast of the FOX news and sports after the SB.
This was the West Palm Beach station, when Suzi Kolber did their sports, before she left and went to ESPN.

People can say what they want about her, but here is some history you may or may not know about her.

She use to write for the Dallas Cowboys Weekly.
She went to Florida to be the sports anchor for WFLX, FOX station in West Palm Beach. She then went to ESPN2 when they 1st started.

I had her on tape after the 92 SB. As she came on to do the sports, she was all hyped up. She was excited the Cowboys won. She told about how she use to write for them, and was a big fan of the Cowboys.

The best for me was shaking hands with Tom Landry two different times.

I have a personalized, autographed 5x7 from Captain America himself (pretty heady stuff for a 12 yo boy). I also have an original zebra hat (wince) prominently displayed in my closet!

I have a 5x7 autographed photo of Roger Staubach.

I have a trashcan (seriously) that I've had for 30-35 years.

I have a commemorative coin from SB XXVII (think that's the right one).

I have an autographed copy of Bill Bates' book.

I have a Tony Dorsett jersey, circa 1980.

I have a signed picture from Randy White.

I have a 1977 Dallas Cowboys team leader trading card, which shows Tony Dorsett with 1,007 yds, Harvey Martin with 23 sacks, and I can't recall the others. Maybe Cliff Harris and Drew Pearson. Haven't looked at it in years.

Very nice.

Now this is the kind of thing I was looking for. Things that were issued years ago. Trying to see what old items were floating around back in the day.
