I just watched the blocked FG several times and I can't believe what I am seeing. Colombo blocks down to double someone and lets Vincent come straight through the line completely untouched. Unbelievable.

I did the exact same thing. Dude has head way up his end. Unbelievable. This guy has been a pleasant surprise at RT, but he hurt us big time on that play today. He didn't even think about blocking Vincent. That is pathetic.

The kick was too low. Usually kickers only kick that low for 47+ yarders, not 35 yarders. But it was just par for the course on a day like this.

He blocked the outside man and did just fine there.

When someone is lined up directly opposite you, and you KNOW that they are going to be in all-out-rush mode, you HAVE to put a helmet on them. Have to.

It's amazing how many people realize how low it was kicked...even though we never got anything resembling a side-view of the kick to actually get a good look at the kick's trajectory. Morons.

That ball was headed straight through the uprights and Vincent was laid out right in front of him. You cannot blame Vandy for that.

Witten blocked the outside man on the other FG's, too. Colombo blocked down because there was no one in front of him threatening to rush. In this case, there was. He absolutely has to put a block on Vincent.

You might be right, but I am not a coach, and it sure as heck looked like a flub on Columbo's part.

Witten didn't have an inside guy to block on the other field goals either, I've watched it, all of the field goals. And actually, you have to block the inside guy that's free, you have to.

And really if you think about it, we should've had more protection on that side if possible.. If Columbo blocks out, then his man comes un covered and a free shot at the block.. You have to make the the guy with the longest trip to the kicker alone, if you have to make a decision.

Again, I'd love to hear how everyone is so positive of this. No way you could get that out of any angle that was shown during the game.
