Witten didn't have an inside guy to block on the other field goals either, I've watched it, all of the field goals. And actually, you have to block the inside guy that's free, you have to.

And really if you think about it, we should've had more protection on that side if possible.. If Columbo blocks out, then his man comes un covered and a free shot at the block.. You have to make the the guy with the longest trip to the kicker alone, if you have to make a decision.

Actually, from the replay, the guy that Columbo assisted in blocking was pretty well handled by the player to his right.
