The six years I was with him in the draft room, he drinks ice tea during the draft matter of fact we all did from Eddie Deans who brought us the meals. When the draft was over on the final nite and all the players were signed did he have a drink Johnnie Walker Blue was his choice with a cigar. It was a great tradition that he shared with all of us.

There's a video of him drunk. Alcoholics go to meetings drunks go to parties and we've seen Jerry at parties.

That's pretty dumb. Most of the world has drinks some times, most people these days have a picture of video of them drunk, doesn't make them alcoholics.

And wow? HE WENT TO PARTIES? OMG HE'S CRAZY!! HOW COULD HE?

Nice tidbit. Though, as a scotch drinker, I'd quibble over the Walker Blue being the best choice. Cigars and scotch, though, are maybe the best way to ice a big accomplishment.

It's certainly branded that way. It drinks almost like a single malt. :)

I prefer single malts. Tamnavulin (which you can't find anymore) or Lagavulin, if I'm in the mood for something with hairy knuckles and some peat.

Not a fan of any of the Walker blends at all, but Blue at least doesn't taste so much like Walker.

Where did I say he was an alcoholic? What's dumb is not comprehending what's clearly been stated or are you just another one of these spin doctors I keep attracting? I never said he was an alcoholic. Have another one on me...CHEERS! LOL

Also for the people saying Jerry isn't as sharpe talking as he was, turning 70 might have a little to do with that!

Ahhh so now your argument shifts from Jerry "clearly drinks all the time" to "Jerry drinks." You sly devil, you.

I never said Jerry clearly drinks all the time. I said Jerry "clearly drinks a lot" which is different than drinking all the time. It's no wonder I always end up leaving you speechless looking for an escape route. Drinking all the time would leave him cuddling up with a drink all day and night which would result in him having to dry out at the Betty Ford center. I have a question for you how come less than 24 hours ago you said you learned a long time ago not to have a serious discussion with me and now you're back wanting to have a serious discussion???

What you should have learned a long time ago which was actually only 2 weeks ago is that if you make a claim and can't produce the proof you're going to get slammed. Two weeks ago you claimed in BOLD PRINT that Romo had a double chin based on a pic that was posted. I checked all the pics and not one of them showed Romo with a double chin. When repeatedly challenged to produce the pic you refused claiming you don't have to prove anything to me. What does that say? It said to me and everyone else that your clam was false or you would have posted the pic in question. It made you look bad and you know it.

Yesterday you claimed I made some ignorant comments. I asked you repeatedly to produce the comments and you refused saying you no longer wanted to have a serious discussion with me. lol What does that say? It said to me and everyone else that there were no ignorant comments by me or you would have slammed me with them. The only ignorant comments made other than the ones from the fan who bailed the day before after claiming the experts don't know what they're talking about were the interpretations (SPINS) of my comments.

If you want to engage in a discussion/debate with me I'm game but put on your big boy pants and don't search for lame excuses to bail if you can't back up your claims or don't have answers to questions. Hard to get backed into a corner if you're honest and know what you're talking about. If you're going to make a claim be ready to prove it or I'll keep having you searching for a way out everytime you show up wanting to engage. I'll answer any question you have pertaining to football/Cowboys and I expect you to do the same thing or don't waste my time. If you're going to follow the lead of those you're packing with you'll end up looking silly just like them. Their MO is not an MO you want to follow if you want to maintain any credibility in discussions.

We all make mistakes here but you have to be willing to own up to them instead of making a worse situation for yourself that causes you to have to bail or stoop to the crap that some others do that everyone on the board can see through. I'm one of those who will keep feeding someone rope until they hang themselves so be your own man and don't pack around with clowns who repeatedly end up at the bottom of a cliff like Wylie Coyote.
