What was the best draft we had in the last 10 years?

Hey, I know it's vogue to diss James, but how many other of those 4th round picks did anything with the exception of Barber?

He's a starter and a decent player; that's a solid pick to make in the 4th round.

I like adding the green and orange. I'll go back and do the same.

I can see your point and I figured I'd take some heat for it but I'm not sold on him. We all have opinions and that's why I was asking about this topic.

I would like to do a poll but I don't know how. If a mod want to change this so it's in a poll format that would be cool.

I was looking for draft stuff and I came upon this site.

Pick the best draft in the last 10 years. Then, Grade the drafts from each year. Seems like something we can do to pass the time till the next draft.

Also, pick your top 10 players and your bottom 10 players.
Red is bad, Blue are good picks.

this is where you lost all credibility in my mind, he had a few bad games last year and you call him a bad pick!! He is a starter as a 4th round pick and has had a near probowl season! dont' be so quick to call someone a bad pick especially when the value on that pick has been above average!!

2002 looked like a gem at first but then Antonio turned into the wrong kind of "Jersey" guy and Parcells sent him the way of the supposed steal Derek Ross, his best friend on the team ironically.

Can't complain about Roy or Gurode, some will try however.

2003, first four picks were pretty good, yeah Al Johnson ended up a little small for what Parcells was hoping for but he was not a bust by any sane measure.

Bradie James was a fourth round pick and for when he was taken he was worth it despite the unwavering venom delivered at him on this board.

2004, I stand behind Julius Jones, I think he was the best back in the 2004 draft, better than even that back noone wanted named Steven Jackson. Let the hate begin on that opinion, I just don't care.

Rogers was an injury magnet and Peterman was surprisingly weenie considering his reputation so that put a damper on the draft even after Patrick Crayton became one of the steals of it in the 7th round.

2005, on paper excellent, in terms of potential excellent, in practice good but still waiting for some break throughs.

2006, a depth draft, one filled with youngster picks intended to provide depth and versatility.

I think Carpenter, Fasano, Hatcher and possibly McQuistan fit that bill nicely. Nothing flashy but I think it will pan out in the end.

2007, Lord only knows, probably another depth draft with a glance to the future at WR and NT.

Petitti played every game as a rookie, and had it not been for columob, he would have still be the starter. everybody else plays a huge a role on this team

Yeah, that's why he's over there keeping that bench warm in New Awlins.
