Demarcus Lawrence's sack fumble and recovery to redeem himself. He did everything on that play after coming oh so close several times since returning from injury.

That Dez disappeared again for long stretches.

That Romo didn't learn from holding onto the ball as the game went on.

That DLaw screwed up the first fumble recovery and then that he actually redeemed himself. Props to the staff for staying with him!

Remember the old days when Calvin Johnson would go deep and Stafford would throw it to him?

I'm so glad we prevailed this time. I hated the way they gloated after their come-from-behind wins the last two meetings. It's nice to be the one with the last laugh.

On a different note, did anyone notice that Stafford sort of snubbed Romo after the game? It seemed like Romo wanted to shake hands and/or chat a bit but he just patted him on the back/shoulder because Stafford was walking away. Maybe they just showed the tail end of it, but Romo sort of gave him a look that made me wonder.

Biggest surprise to me was the Dallas Defense actually making a play and ending the game. Nice job D.

Was it the win itself?

Nope. Was it picking up the flag on Hitchens?

Nope. Was it the number of poor throws by Romo?

Nope. Was it the fact a 300 pound Governor couldn't get his arms around a 72 year old owner?

Nope. It was the fact this team had a pass rush in the 4th Quarter. Some of that is the rotation Marinelli plays and some of it was Detroit playing obvious passing sets. But Lawrence, Crawford and Spencer all had big plays in crunch time and two of those guys figure to start next year. It was the most unexpected thing in this game IMO and a good sign for the rest of this playoff season.

Biggest suprise was sack strip fumble and recovery by d law after simultaneously playing role of hero and goat in same play only 4 plays earlier.

Maybe not a huge surprise because Dallas has been mentally tough all year, but the way absolutely every bad thing that could possibly happen happened and they still didn't fold. The offense clawed it's way throughout the game, the defense that was getting punked pulled it together, the kicker with the sphincter clinch miss turns around and boots a 51 yarder, the rookie game-losing brain-fart turns around and gets the biggest sack/fumble game-winner. Nobody quit.

The pass rush in the 4th was a thing of beauty, I mean to not only be good enough to force one sack fumble but two? Very impressive play from those guys I mean Spencer is starting to play like himself again & this might be the game that sparks Lawrence and gets him going as a consistent pass rush threat.

Who are we kidding folks? The biggest surprise was the overturned PI on Hitchens. It was overturned so late, it came after it was announced by the ref. Not sure I've ever seen that. HUUUUGE surprise there.
