The guy was a surgeon yesterday. I don't think I have ever seen him sharper.

Those bags have been packed a long time ago and they are long gone. It'd be nice if they popped in and said hi though - just to see what they say.

I deal with them at work and all they will say is "He doesnt have a ring." "Wait for the playoffs" "He will choke it away"

Tony has moved past Rogers for Season Leading Rating after yesterdays performance. On the season, Tony is at 114.4 with one game to go. Rogers is at 111.0.

Those are insane ratings. I never even imagined it would get that high.

ufcrules is avoiding all romo threads. Wonder why?

Yeah, but he's a pretty good fan who contributes, just not a big Romo guy. The others love to take cheap shots by posting snide little drive-by comments, then run and hide.

I have never seen him sharper. His passes were a thing of beauty, right on time and right on the money. I think he is finally feeling better.
His 151.7 against the Colts was the highest game rating of his career.

4 of his last 5 games all rank among his 18 career best in pass rating.

His 7 games above a 128 rating is a new NFL record for a season.

lol...and Mr Weeden's was 158.3:lmao2:

He looks like Joe Montana provided he doesn't have more than a few attempts in a relief role. In 8 attempts in relief this season Weeden has thrown 2 TD passes. His passer rating was 145.1 vs Washington, 100.0 vs JAX and 158.3 last night. His passer rating for the season is only 85.7 which points to how bad his one start went.

Romo is finally getting to display what he's capable of when the time he's afforded is better than in the past. Nowadays, his accuracy is comparable to any of the QBs in the league. This just goes to show how protection in the pocket oftentimes works wonders. It's great to see him enjoying the fruits of his longtime labors in Dallas.

Hey, even it if was vs backups, that really was a beautiful ball he threw for that TD.

He has good touch on the long ball. He may turn out to be a decent backup until we find another QB. Someday. TBD.

I love what he said about being better than ever and being able to make all the throws not just with textbook mechanics but from multiple positions. Tony just looks fantastic right now.

What was equally impressive was his mobility, I was surprised to see him move well on his few scrambles yesterday. I expect the gunslinger/escape artist to come out in the playoffs!

Agree about him looking better than ever. It just goes to show what's possible with the protection that his OL is affording him this year. He's finally getting the support he so richly deserves -- it's his time to shine now. Last night, I commented how much more accurate he seems now than in the past. My son reminded me about how the additional time he's getting has really changed things. I really had to admit he had a point there. Perhaps all the experimenting he does with throwing in the offseason helped as well. Whatever it is, it seems to be working.

He said he worked harder than ever at being able to make all the throws no matter where his feet were etc. I wondered how he was making all those throws with bad mechanics.
