Mine was 1993 season's final game against NY Giants (both with 11-4 record), the winer will be NFC East champ and home field advantage throughout the playoffs was on the line...It was an incredible game where E. Smith separated his shoulder but continue to play. His performance and will to win with an injury was simply amazing. Emmitt finished the game with 168 yards on 32 carries and caught 10 passes for 68 yards, one heck of gutsy and resilient performance.

badleelee,

i agree, i was at that game with my dad, and in that game we obviously were going for 3 in a row. But what was unreal was while waiting for the game to start and interacting with the 49ers fans, they thought they had no shot. you know in that game not only did we get down 21-0, but if not for that non pass interference call on deion against irvin, we would have had all the momentum and cut it to 3 with about 6 minutes to go. we would have won, should have won.

Super Bowl VI, 1971. It was our first championship and after coming so close for so long it was the sweetest win imaginable! :starspin

Probably my second favorite but your right. After so long of falling short, it was such a huge relief to finally win it. All the jokes, all the crap you had to put with from other fans. It sucked. My favorite, even though it was a loss was probably the 79 Divisional Championship game against the Rams. I watched it and it just underlined why Roger was great. He just played his heart out in that game. Still remember Ferragamo throwing that crossing route to Waddy for the 50 yard TD with less then 2 minutes to go. That pass was tipped. Had it not been tipped, it never would have been complete.

One of the following:
- 1981 Playoff Game vs. Atlanta, Danny White Passed for 322 Yards
- The Emmitt Smith Seperated Shoulder game vs. the Giants
- The January 1995 Playoff game vs Greenbay, with Irvin, Harper and Novaceck all going for over 100 yards receiving

Super Bowl XXVII. After the first quarter jitters subsided, everything, I mean EVERYTHING went right for the Cowboys that night. It was magical on so many levels. Even the weather was perfect. Leon Lett being stripped of the ball at the goal line only adds to the lore of that game. We should've won 59-10 (Buffalo's QB was past the line of scrimmage on one of their TDs) instead of 52-17. Think about that. And I had waited 14 years for that game to happen, so it's at the top of my list.

From start to finish, this was the game that I enjoyed the most. There wasn't much anxiety or concern; it was a wonderful display of dominance. It was a coronation.

There have been many more thrilling games. Many games have been harder fought. Many games have had more remarkable individual performances. Some others may have felt "more important."

But if we are talking about sitting back on the couch and smiling broadly while in a prolonged state of carefree joy, I'd pick this one.

Yeah, I think if Dallas had gotten past Detroit in the playoffs, they would've beaten the 'Skins in RFK for the NFC title. Then we would've beaten Buffalo 3 years in a row.
I thought so, too. The game against Detroit was absolutely the worst coaching job I've ever seen from Jimmy. He sold out against the run and let Detroit just pick apart the defense through the air.

The 1992 NFC Championship Game had to be the best that I ever saw.

Last year: It would have to be our win against the Colts.

That winning TD pass from Romo during the 2007 SB game. Damn I let the cat out of the bag.

Last game of the '79 season, Cowboys were down by 13 points with just under two minutes left and Staubach led us to a victory. It was Staubach's last regular season game and one of the most exciting sporting events I've ever watched.

Couldn't have been anything the Jimster did, it had to be Jerry's fault, somehow.:D

I've said this before on the site, so I'll be repeating myself.

1992 Championship! That whole second half was like an out of body experience for me. I never watched a sporting event with more passion.
I don't think I could have survived a loss that day.

Understand this is comming from a 38 year old.
I was 12 years old for the January 1982 heartbreak.
Spent the next 11 years waiting for the Boys to get back to the Superbowl.
They had to win that day.
