I posted this in another thread about Favorite TV shows But I wanted to know...What was your favorite Toy you received at Christmas as a Child?

Stories and Pictures if you can.

I loved Lost in Space...Couldn't wait to get home from school to watch it...And I loved the Robot.

I got this one when I was about 4...It wasn't the same color as on TV But I could have cared less...I wanted this so bad and I still tell my wife it was my favorite Christmas ever.:D

Mine would probably be my first real bike. I must have gone through three or four back tires, a couple of sets of handle bars, and a couple of seats within the first 6 months. Me and my friends were always jumping ramps and curbs. I have the scars to prove it. It drove my father crazy because he was always fixing something. It's a wonder I never broke any bones or my neck :laugh1:

Bike, super toe field goal kicking game, electronic football and a water rocket. I didn't get these all in one year, but when I did get them I really enjoyed them.

Picutre of super toe field goal kicking game. I remember there being a baseball version, but I didn't have that one.

Picture of electronic football. I had an off brand and not the well known Mattel version, but it was still super fun.

Probably the toy(s) I got the most out of were hotwheels. I probably had at least a 100 of them at one time.

I had about 300 to 400 Hotwheel-Matchbox cars.

My Mom still keeps them in her attic and says I'll keep these until you have a child...Hint...Hint.:D

Funny, I don't remember having alot of toys. I wasn't a doll girl. My mom bought me a Raggedy Ann doll and another one that peed all over the place. I'd simply poor water down the thing's throat so I could see water flow out.

I played outside alot back then. Always had friends to play with. We'd play kickball, softball, race each other down the street. Sideline tackle football. The curb would be the sideline. If you're in the street it'd be touch, but once you got to the curb, watch out for the hit that's coming...

I had rollerskates. I skated just to go over to a neighbors house. We'd have skate races all the time. And when one broke, I kept right on trucking w/just the one until my mom bought me a bike. Rode both my bikes into the ground right up until I got my drivers license.

Only game I remember playing back then was Centipede on an Atari...and maybe Pacman.

Bigwheel. I got one every year for christmas. Maybe 5-6 years in a row. I was the neighborhood bigwheel stunt king.

I lost interest when they became "The green machine."
