I am thinking that if you get the wrong wife, then that is no good.

But if you get the right one, it is the most incredible thing on earth.

A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.

Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.

She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.

She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.

She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

Yep, that's Proverbs 31, ... at least a part of it.

I'll be honest, I didn't marry a Proverbs 31 woman, but she has become one as we have grown together.

Chief, I have very strong feelings about the institution of marriage, and I don't think it is taken seriously today.

Most guys need to "man up" and lead their families as the spiritual head of the household.

Not all of course, but I feel most marriages fail because men aren't doing what they are supposed to in the relationship.

Oh well, like most of my other posts, nobody wants to hear this.

Don't worry. As one of the current generation of younger people, im glad that there are still people of your character to look up to. Theres a few on this board that meet that criteria. Im glad I have someone in my household to look up to, but for others, don't be afraid to speak your mind about the true way a man should treat and respect women.
