When you have a mediocre career coordinator win 7 games his first season you know you got the right head coach.

Yea, not sure why everyone is so high on our HC who wasn’t pursued by anyone else along with a DC in his first season ?

Anyone who coaches for Dallas under our dysfunctional ownership this era has to be questionable.

Perhaps Hawk needs to better define which leadership he’s referring to?

Our leadership excels in hype and promotion. And not attracting or pursuing the best HC’s and GM’s available .

What makes me think they can is having a bunch of tough dawgs on D. Along w/ a disruptive front. Dominant OL is a huge factor also, and at least the interior of our OL is dominant.

No, we don't know for sure, but it sure does appear that Schotty provides the calm leadership we've been needing.

It’s extremely too early to be making these assertions . It really wasnt that hard to make better decisions on defense with so many 1st round draft picks at our disposal.

Not sure why it isn’t enough to be just excited we will have an improved defense without all of the attachments thereof .

Apparently we’ve just become a very desperate fanbase after the absence of success. No wonder there is so much ridicule from other fanbases and media.

I just don’t have any long time fellow Cowboy fans who act as such. We are all suspect after being burned so many times this era while retaining hope and curiosity how it could develop.

Call me biased, but I will match our leadership with any team out there. In fact, it's a major strength that is getting overlooked, IMO.

Understood . It is a mixed bag of emotions. But we can still love and root on our Cowboys players while hating what Jethro has done to our franchise.

I must say while it’s been horribly frustrating this era and totally embarrassing being a Cowboy fan I do find some satisfaction he hasn’t won another one .

But I remind myself I hated what he represented from Day 1 but loved what Jimmy did. So I could love winning again. He won’t get credit. Just like before . Schotty would get the credit.

QW, Clark, EZ, Overshawn, Winters, Gary, Downs, Bland, Revel, Vonn Miller, Dak, Tyler Smith, Booker and Lamb all have strong leadership traits AND talent to play at a high level. We are no longer relying on ONE superstar to lead our defense. Remember when DLaw left; Parsons' first words were, this is my defense now ( of course, that was before he and Jerry started fighting ).

This is why I am 100% confident we have better players to handle adversities and tough cycles during the season. Player who won't spend a lot of time reading their clippings when things are going great or go into a funk when the ship is sinking.

Same it was a good offseason. I dont expect a good season but this should be an interesting and fun season.

So burnt toast Revel is a leader now? Vonn Miller and Ceedee Lamb sharing the same thot is a great example to other players? EZ who is a bust is also a leader in the locker room? Dak who folds like a cheap lawn chair in high pressure games is going to lead the team against adversity?

Overshawn is going to cheer for the team from his hospital bed? Not sure what planet you are living on.
