What were you thinking when we gave the ball back to them at the end?

When we gave the ball back to them with 1:04 left in the game, were you like me and my friends? Were there shades of familiarity? Were you thinking you've seen this movie time and time again on Netflix? I'm not going to go into detail and completely obliterate any particular player. Win as team. Loses as a team. However, I do see that we have a nice blend of talented players acquired within the last 5 years and a smaller contngent that has directed this B movie for close to a decade. That contingent consists of Jason Garrett, Tony Romo, DeMarcus Ware, and Jason Witten. All great people in their own rights.. However, they tie the current talent pool to the days of heartbreaking loss after loss. We are a team that is deserately trying to shed that regurgitated Neflix B movie image but the ties still remain. There is no easy answer. Perhaps guys like Witten, Romo, and Ware should apprecaite the fire that burns inside a player like Dez. Perhaps they would benefit greatly from taking a bit of that fire to use for themselves. Examine it. Breathe in the fumes. Understand it completely. While some may see sideline Dez as childish antics, I see a competitor that just wants to win. That fire is a breath of fresh air for a fan like me tht has grown tired of the Netflix Dallas Cowboys B movie.

Let's just say I was more than a little worried. Like you said, I've seen this movie before. Too many times.

I felt like there was entirely too much time on the clock because we had NO PASS RUSH as usual. The one time we pressured Stafford he was called for grounding. Of course Hatcher had the sack. Other than that he was clean all day. I'm tired of the Cowboys defense making it so easy on everybody. And, hey offense, you might want to capitalize off of turnovers. Just saying. This is the worst loss in a long time for me.

As soon as I saw the word "flag" on the screen, I knew it was GAME OVER.

I wondered aloud why Dallas didn't go for it on 4th and 5. At least they would have had a chance.

Seriously.. What were you thinking when.

That in a minute and four seconds the doomsday defense was looking at 4-4. Doomsday has a new meaning on this team.

When we decided to run the ball (again) instead of going for the first, I said "Garret doesn't want to win the game". When I saw the flag, I knew we were going to lose.

I'm typically not the woe-is-me type, but with our defense having given up 550 yards and given our propensity to find ways to lose, my friend and I were texting each other that it was over.

when the Lions got the ball with 1:04 left I knew they would get a TD with the kind of game CJ was having and the piss poor coverage. Even with no timeouts, there was this uneasy feeling that the Cowboys let another one get away. On top of that, you have the bad PI call and then I knew even the refs knew who would win this game.

I was thinking that maybe...just maybe...we would get some pressure on Stafford and force an INT. Wishful thinking.

At 1:04 I was thinking about the New England game a few years ago.
