What will it take for Wade to remain the coach of the Cowboys?

No offense to the OP, who obviously is new here, but I guess I don't understand why we get so many "What will it take to keep Wade" threads. I mean, we literally get several a week. It's no secret that if this team doesn't have a successful end of the year, he's gone.

I mean, that's not even a question, is it?

Anyway...

I still have a feeling he's gone at the end of the year. Whether that's because we miss the playoffs or even make it and win a game or two, I just can't see him coaching here next year. (Not that I think that's necessarily a good thing.)

That is more of a play on words. Technically your right his contract has expired so it is not a firing but the end result is the same. Jerry has indicated that Wade could get an extension should certain things happen so weather you call it firing or not what happens here on out plays a big part in him returning or not.

I would have fired him last year after we were dismantled by the Eagles needing to win our last game to even get into the playoffs. Do you not agree that we have under performed to the talent level on our roster. We have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. We did not make the playoffs last year and with two games left I feel we should already have a playoff spot secured which we don't. Based on the last two years, the only way Wade would keep his job is a Superbowl win. Now if we finished this season 13 -3 or better and lost in the NFC title game I would keep him. We have had too many losses where the team just looked flat and unmotivated which all falls on the head coach in my book.
