What do we have to do in December?

5-0?
4-1?
3-2?

Improve the offense until it is again putting up the 30-ppg it was before.

Be balanced and attacking and dictating to the defense.

The defense continues to play at a high level and becomes stifling for the opponent.

Win the turnover battle each week.

Beat:

Oakland
NY Giants
San Diego
Washington
Philadelphia

Head into the play-offs getting better each week.

If this team does these things then this season will be headed in the right direction. We will have a shot because we won the East.

Its going to be tough this December and there is no way we will go undefeated but the 1st game we lose everyone is going to start hammering down with the December collapse stuff.

Its inevitable.

Dallas just needs to take it 1 game at a time and do their best to ignore the media onslaught that is going to be here soon.

If we win today though we are a shoe into the playoffs imo.

Nobody told that to the Cardinals last year.

Our december looks devastating.... I don't think this year will be the year we quiet boo birds.

There will always be someone *****ing about something :laugh2:

Yup-our fans should NOT be booing this club. Finally we have some heart on the club (maybe not quite the talent we've had in the past) and some our fans don't get it and BOO.

Save of your anger and make some noise when the other team has it far a change. 80+Thousand should be able to make a difference.

And if that was the norm, I would grant your point.

The Cards managed to put a couple of good games togther in the playoffs after stumbling to win a horrible division.

It all comes down to probabilities. What is the liklihood of succeeding when stumbling in December and backing in ot the playoffs, like the Cards did? As opposed to winning game in December and playing better on all sides of the ball as you enter January?

I'll take my chances with the latter instead.

Giants went 3-2 when they won it all. Would 3-2 make you happy?

I also just noticed the Steelers got beat down by the Titans in December last year. The Titans were everyones Superbowl team last year much like the Saints and Colts are everyones this year.

Uh, ripping their heads off and peeing down the nub?

Probably established a history of showing up in tough games and December; winning the division; and then a playoff victory no from luck.

Depends on how they are playing.

By the way, playing as the statement in your signature suggests would be great. I couldn't agree more.

It will take a winning record in December with consistent effort from Romo and the coaching staff. They need to show they belong in the postseason discussions which they can only do by winning a playoff games. And then they need to do it for a few years in a row. If not they will always consider the team pretenders. Right now the Cowboys is the girl with a hot body with a butter face.

It's been more the norm during this era of the NFL than in any other. And the NFL has been around a long, LONG time.

Nevertheless, the Cowboys have a much larger chance of playoff success if they are playing consistent, mistake free football at the end of the regular season instead of penalty filled, turnover happy, inconsistent ball.

Call me crazy, but that's what I think.
