Jay: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you (Head Bobble)... Thank you. (Clasps hands together)
My next guest is one of the most recognized owners in sports. He's the Owner and General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys. Let's everyone welcome, Jerry Jones! (Crowd Applause) (Few Dallas Jersey wearing fans stand up)
(Jerry walks out holding his hand up at the audience the whole time and sits, Jay proceeds to his seat)
Jay: Thanks for coming on.
Jerry: Thank you, let me just say that I'm excited about the opportunity to be on tonight. And the fans out there in the audience.
Jay: So, big game coming up this Sunday.
Jerry: Yes Yes, We've been working hard this year and let me just say, not to be trite or cute, but we've really been plugging it in this year with some of our uh, um young players stepping up. It's going to be an exciting game to watch.
Jay: That it will. Now, normally it's not something you see every day to have the owner of a sports franchise on a late show. So I'm going to ask you now your feelings about being on tonight.
Jerry: Uh, um. (Thinks for a second) I'm going to tell you a story that happened to me when I was 8. I was fishing with my grandfather and we caught a big bass. Now, relative to the situation here, the moment is much the same. I'm reeling in the prize, our Dallas Cowboys this opportunity we have to do something special with special people in all places. The fans, the Players, the Coaches. It's one heck of a time to be in football.
