I caught the Jay Leno Show for the first time Thursday night because Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones made an appearance on the "10 at 10" segment, which Leno unfunningly changed to the "9 at 9" because Jones was in central time.
Leno didn't really touch on anything of significance with Jerry.
Here's a few highlights:
Jerry was asked if he had a problem with players dating celebrities, given you know who and what's her name: "Well, you know, it is all about football but players can evolve into celebrities and the Cowboys have players that do that. But apart from winning the ballgames, spice is nice. That adds a litytle gusto to things. I like it as far as the Cowboys are concerned."
And does Jerry ever check out the cheerleaders on the field: "Well, you know I love to watch my players and get a first-hand appraisal of how they're performing and I also like to look out on the field and see those who are playing football too."
After a few more yuks, Leno asked Jerry about the size of his TV at home compared with the digital board at Cowboys Stadium: "I have a 42-inch one at home but I can't work the control. At least here with the what the Guinness Book of Records says is the biggest digital board ever at least I get to say what's up there, so I like this one better than the one I have at home."
Thank you, tip your waiters and waitresses and have a good day.
