SB gets absurd ratings more for the commercialization than the teams. How many people really say they’ve never seen a SB that didn’t involve their team? Woman and kids in Sri Lanka watch SBs who don’t even know who any NFL teams are.

Maybe conference championship games would be a better gauge

Super Bowls get great ratings for all kinds of reasons, even more when Dallas is involved.

The two most watched Super Bowls ever were the Seahawks ones. So either they’re bigger than Dallas, or teams matter little in the grand scheme of world audience

I would have said Dallas vs Brady and the Patriots but that's not gonna happen but it still might get the most viewers. So I would have to say it would be based on fan base numbers so maybe:
Dallas vs Pittsburgh
Dallas vs Las Vegas

To me the most watched though should be Dallas vs KC

Cowboys vs. Steelers. As I understand it, those are the two largest fan base teams.

And in 1995, Super Bowl XXX, the Cowboys-Steelers Super Bowl did, in fact, set the ratings record as of back then, if I recall right.

I think that still remains the only time two teams met 3 times in the SB.

Boys vs Patriots

Not without Tom Brady. The Pats lost a lot of their luster when he moved on. All the players that made them great are gone. Mac Jones vs Dak Prescott isn’t going to excite fans.

What would draw the biggest Super Bowl crowd would be a great QB matchup Aaron Rodgers versus either Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes. Those are the three top QBs in the league. The Cowboys would obviously be a big draw because they’re the Cowboys so them versus either Buffalo or Kansas City. The Cowboys are going to have their work cut out just making the playoffs. The gap has closed between them and the rest of their divisional opponents. They will not sweep the NFC East this year.

One of the worst losses in team history was the loss to the Egirls in the 1980 NFCCG. The Egirls got smoked by the Raiders and its hard not to think that 1) the Cowboys would have put on a much better performance than the Egirls 2) It would have been a ratings bonanza for the network
