What would be your grade on our Rookies thus far?

This is probably the 1st season in a long time if ever, that we've had so many rookies play this early in the season. I know it's early (duh), but we've actually needed them to play because we were all-in, and didn't have the money to get veterans to help us. With that said, of the guys getting ample time in games, what would be your grade for them thus far.

This is pretty close to where I would grade them. I might give Beebe a B- but otherwise I agree.

It‘s only been 4 games. I expect these grades to change quite a bit over the coming weeks. In fairness to all these rooks, they were thrown into the fire immediately and have done about as well as could be expected. Very, very few NFL rookies are just plug and play. All these rookies need developmental patience.

Guyton ranks 6th on a list of 166 players that have had penalties called against him. He's 3rd if you count offsetting/declined. 5 holds, 1 false start, 1 block above the waist. Take away the 2 holds you say were wrong and he'd rank 22nd out of 166 and 7th of 166 counting offsetting/declined. Rah.

But, but the refs even hate our rookies though, lol. Excuses.

Liafu shows flashes but needs more discipline
Kneeland just needs to show more but there are good signs

I hear everything your saying. I like Liaufau more than anyone right now, next probably being Kneeland. I love the kids enthusiasm, I saw him mixing it up out there, something about the hair also just gives me Polamalu vibes!! lol

A+ They are playing on a bad team with coaches who are in limbo. Most of the coaches should ahve been fired and are NOT helping our rookies. They rookies that do have to play, have to play because they need to play for two reasons, 1 our coaches suck and 2 players need to play instead of learn due to age. Eveyone wants young players. THE NFL hits harder than it used to, bodies cant take it.

Our GM designed this mess, nothing many can do about it. THe scouting did the best they could do, the combine is not science.

Look at the whole product and not just what you see.

Bless these poor rooks whos careers will be hampered.

None of the rookies have looked great so far which has contributed to our 2-2 record. Not saying any of them have been bad or don’t have potential. Kneeland and Beebe have looked pretty good but they’re all a work in progress.
