There’s always a possibility . But I’d like to hear the detailed argument how “ we have a good shot” being 2 games behind. Something beyond I believe it will happen.
The Eagles are going to lose some games and the Cowboys are certainly good enough to beat them too. The Cowboys defense gives them a chance to win in each and every game. Of Course that doesn't mean that they will win every game, but they could and certainly will win most of them. All that needs to happen is for the Eagles to split with the Giants and Washington and lose to the Cowboys.

Like I said. It’s possible. But is it likely.

For the sake of argument let’s say we finish the second half of season 8-1. That’s pretty optimal . The Egirls would have to finish 6-4 pending tiebreakers. While it’s possible do you find that probable.

Now if we go 7-2 which is still optimistic finishing 13-4 the Egirls would have to finish 6-5. Based on what we have seen thus far it’s difficult to predict as such.

Maybe something will happen to change the current trend. Maybe we will win out going 9-0 . Maybe Egirls will suddenly begin losing . Anything can happen . But what is more probable.

I see the Cowboys winning 12 or 13 games barring any serious injuries and being a strong WC opponent at least in first round playing at a much weaker #4 divisional winner probably from NFC South.

And I can see a NFC West team like SF as 7th seed which might have possibility of upsetting #2 seed which could be Minn.

That would 7th seed to Phil . And if NY was 6th seed playing a Seattle as 3rd seed. If NY won we’d actually have a home game as WC in divisional round or I’d like our chances at a lesser record Seattle.

And why the 5th seed could be very favorable.
