What would we pay OBJ for a few games?

OBJ wants a multi year deal from what I have heard, and the Cowboys are up for that if the price is right.

Translation: they opened James Washington's practice window for a reason.

3 years 7.5 mil a ye
I read he would sign a contract like Gallup’s. The Cowboys already regret that deal, so far at least. His production is what you’d expect from a Noah Brown coming off the bench.
i get he has been injured but so far I agree although he had a great game against Giants

Jerry has been incessant that OBJ needs to be additive this year, that is the key. Jerry feels it this year, if OBJ can put us on another plane then we will sign him. Jerry looking for that little extra this year for the Tournament run. We will find out soon enough. Still not sure that we can compete with SF physically!
Idk about you but from watching games and sounds from sideline and hearing players talk you can definitely tell being more physical and tough was a big theme coming into the season. I think we realized not being physical enough is reason we lost to SF last year and players have learned from it. We are way more physical this year than last.

Jerry will pay whatever he can to have OBJ be the distraction and not anything else right now. Too much noise surrounding Jerry at the moment.

Signing OBJ has nothing to do with Lamb what so ever. Any big cap hit as a result of extending Lamb wouldn't happen until 2026 most likely. OBJ would be gone by that time.

I was actually thinking of Diggs, Pollard, Steele, and Parsons…not to even mention Schultz whom I presume is gone but you never know

We have six games left and he’s not even on a team yet. By the time he does sign with someone it’s going to take a week or two to get him ready. Whoever signs him will be lucky to have him for 4 games the rest of the regular season. He’ll probably end up with a soft tissue injury in no time. If he’s willing to sign for cheap for a few games with incentives this season then we can work something out. If not I wouldn’t be interested.

Jerry would be signing him for next year. Not going to happen. I wouldn't want it to happen.

Does anyone truly think the gimpy version of this guy is worth the headache?

We are building a nice thing here. We have as good a shot as anyone in this years NFC, and things look quite promising moving ahead.

The one time I want to hear “we like our guys” is now, because so do I.
