What would you do in this scenario?

The season starts and we start off 10-3 and everything seems to be going well with Romo spreading the ball around with him and Roy on the same page. week 14 comes around and god forbid Romo gets injured again and out for the next 3 games. Kitna steps in and we go 3-0 during that stretch and our offense is hot putting up 30+ points up a game.

What do you do? Ride Kitna's hot hand into the playoffs? Or risk Romo being a little rusty heading into the playoffs??

When did those losses occur? Were they spaced out, all at the beginning or was he on a 3 game losing streak when he got injured? Is he returning at 100%? What sort of injury are we talking? How has the defense performed; did they step it up when he went out? What were the records of the three teams Kitna beat? Who are we facing and what was their record on the season and the last three weeks? What was the score week 14 when Romo got injured? Are there any other injuries on the team? Who did we draft?

Once you answer those, I'll tell you exactly what we would do.

I'd go with Romo simply because I believe Romo will always give you the best chance to win the game.

If Romo had you at 10-3 when he went down there is zero reason to believe he wouldn't be able to win again for you.

There is one thing I'd do for sure...I'd stay away from the Zone during that time frame because I don't even want to think about the endless threads of drama that a situation like that would bring with it.

It was Tommy Maddox. I was at that game in Denver. I lived in Wyoming at the time. From what I remember the game was closer than I was comfortable with for a good portion of the game. But, IIRC Elway wasn't in the game. It was Maddox and someone else. Brister, maybe?

You have to give Romo the start, but if his lack of playing is showing in a big way via excessive interceptions/fumbles/misc mental errors, then a temporary change in the lineup might have to be considered.

Is Romo fully healed?
What playoff opponent and where?
If Kitna wins the last 3 games he would have beaten the Saints, Commanders and Eagles.

How "well" has Romo been playing prior to injury? PPG? They've been playing very well..he's averaging 250 YPG and 25 PPG

What seed are we in the playoffs?#1
Is Romo fully healed? 80%
What playoff opponent and where? Vikings at our house
If Kitna wins the last 3 games he would have beaten the Saints, Commanders and Eagles. Correct
