What would you give for Trent Richardson?

He may not be a RKG, but I still think the talent is there and someone can get it out of him in the right situation. I'm on my phone and wasn't sure if this hypothetical has been brought up, please forgive if it had.

I'd give up a 4th, maybe a 3rd if I felt like he had his head on right.
a $1 and some envelopes

Not a dime. He is the poster child for college greatness not translating to the NFL. I believe he tries hard but he was a power runner in college and not fast in any sense of the word. In the NFL you better be super powerful or able to make people miss and run away from them. He can't. NOOOOO! to Trent Richardson. Just my $.02

I'd be slightly reluctant, but would honestly probably give a 6th round pick for him.

Id rather take the 1 in a million chance that we find a Brady than trade away a late pick for the 1 to 1 chance we get a bust.

The Running Back market is flooded. Demarco may not get the offers he wants.

Ryan Williams looked real good last preseason and his previous problems were injury problems. Cowboys signed him off the practice squad and he is young. He may be ready to play a big role after a full season of healing. Here is some options if Murray leaves:

1. Go with williams and Randle and maybe bring in a vet like McFadden. DMC may not be what he was but I'd bet he'd be rejuvinated to run behind this line.
2. Ridley is probably gone in New England. He could also provide excellent depth at RB with Williams and Randle.
3. My favorite choice might be Roy Helu. Great receiver. Great in pass protection. Good runner too. Injuries are concern here too.

I'm sure there other FA options. Richardson's buddy Ingram is a FA too. There is the draft. UNless the Colts want to take on a bigger guaranteed salary for Richardson then I pass. What is the cost Brandon Carr if we cut him ot trade him. Can we save money against the cap if trading him for Richardson then releasing Richardson. Not that the Colts would do that either.

I can outrun Trent Richardson. Heck I bet I can outrun Trent Richardson backwards. Plus I would come as a net profit to the Cowboys because I would pay Jerry Jones to let me be on the team rather than draw a salary.

A 3rd or 4th? Wow!

So glad you are not our GM. You can find his equivalent on any practice squad or even an undrafted person.

He's a bum. He left from a horrible situation in Cleveland and went to a great spot in Indy and actually got worse.

I might give up a half eaten Snickers bar. But that's about it.

I wouldn't want him at all. He's just taking up a space for a good or possibly-good player. This line makes us the primo destination for all RBs, we will have no problem finding one that wants to be here. I'm in the AD camp, but if we go FA I'd go with an underutilized guy like Helu over a contract-year magician like Ingram.

What good would he be outside of a _______ & goal situation on the 1 yardline? He has no vision
