wow.

One day I hope to be rich enough to say something like that

4 Grand isn't much at all when you live in NYC... which is both good and bad.

(and actually the student loan thing was a joke, haha... if I still had student loans, I'd be paying that off first!)

"This 1961 Time proof issue of Wilt Chamberlain ended up getting bumped at the last minute for a President Kennedy cover. Also bumped: about 15 to 20 women that week by Wilt and JFK."

Thats the caption for a Wilt Chamberlain cover that didn't get published I thought it was hilarious lol

haha, I like the comment about wearing it around your buddies during a game.

When the eagles come to town it should be uniform to wear the Landry hat and suit for all fans.

$0. I don't believe in sports memorabilia. If someone gave it to me though, I'd be very very grateful. :)

I'd trade in my game-worn Rob Petitti jock strap for it.

I'm not a big fan of memorabilia either.

I'll see your Rob Petitti jock strap, and raise you a Willie Blade childhood used diaper.

Agreed.

I'm also indifferent towards autographs.

I don't get autographs, but I do like to get books signed by authors.

On Landry's fedora, I was thinking I would spend maybe $200. Then I see 4 grand and I realize I'm either a cheap skate or naive.

I have no loans, but I do have $415K left to pay on a brand new mortgage. I would pay 10 grand easy, but my limit would be 20 grand.

yeah, I mean he was a coach. Whats to stop a good clothing designer from replicating it and saying it was game worn?

In all likelihood, you'll pay $200 for a new fedora with absolutely no connection to Tom Landry.:D
