Hmm. I wonder what this says about Hos. After all, he's older than me and has almost four times as many posts. And I thought I had to get a life.

Jerry and fifteen years of futility. What's your solution?

Really? Then I'm disowning you.

The OP was on the attack. His advice was to basically "shut up and get with the program." Maybe you missed that.

This is the best you can do? The answer is none of the above. Just reacting to the reality of the situation in Dallas these days. Sorry if you find that inconvenient.

Please don't project your insecurities onto me. Unlike the Cowboys, my life is just fine. Better than yours at any rate, but that ain't sayin' much.

:lmao:

I get into it with HOS sometimes. The thing is, he is not always negative. Even towards obvious Homers

It doesn't say anything, because I don't come to the board and "only spit negativity."

What we post is irrelevant. He wondered aloud how a 40+ man finds the time to post so often. Maybe you can clue him in.

That is your MO.

What's yours? Taking cheapshots and then waiting for your fellow homers to ride to your rescue? Carry on, troll slayer. :laugh2:

What would also be relevant would be for him to state his own age. That might help establish where he's coming from since age is somehow boggling the mind. Of course, it's very transparent that he was going with the whole Steve Carell thingy too. :p:

Like I've always said my friends, it's more fun being a fan than a critic. I guess I'm an eternal optimist. I keep the lenses of my rose-colored glasses squeeky clean and my glass half full. Honestly... it's just more fun that way.

I never understood being a fan only to drink the haterade and predicting everything that is negative. Oh well. To each their own.
:yourock:
That's me. Glass half full for sure--even when I know maybe it should not be so. It's just way more fun.

Just because everyone see's you for what you are is not my fault.

Probably in his 20s. A sad spokesman for his generation.

I can't speak for you, but I have been a self employed guy for several years. This is about to change and I will be gone most of the time, though I will have a laptop and network card for my new company job, so I might log in now and then. I also don't watch TV, so in the evenings this is my time killer. That is also changing since I have started lifting in the evenings again. Anything else you feel you want to know about me? I'm married, with 2 daughters and live in Tucson. Recently moved and will be moving again in about 2 and a half months. I hope. I'm a taurus, and I don't drink or smoke and I hate tattoos.

Your turn.

You omitted passive-aggressive and dictatorial. In any event, you're talking to the wrong person. Tnew700 was the curious one.

There is very little passive about me. I am loud. I am opinionated. I am friendly. I am smart. I am the center of attention most places I go. Big fish in the little pond, became a little fish in a big pond but is still loud and proud.

If you need to see that as dictatorial to play your victim card go right ahead. The problem really is that you can't prove me wrong and I constantly prove you wrong.

if you have no faith we will win this year, then why stay? Just leave since you know so much, why waste time?

If we do happen to win it all, don't cheer please, don't even act like you knew we would win.

Who's the bigger fan, the one who watches because he is confident of victory or the one who watches despite expecting a loss?

The one who is taller and weighs more is bigger than someone who is shorter and lighter.

Ah right you are..like Confucius say.. " he who stand on toliet seat, is high on pot "

The only good thing you said was "the ire of hatred." Sounds almost like Lone Wattie saying "endeavor to persevere."

You know what I've noticed? Posters who have nothing positive to say get "attacked." If I say something negative I don't get attacked. Neither do other posters who are not constantly negative. It is the constant negativity that gets attacked. There is no such thing as every damned thing this organization does is wrong.

It does not take an Ivy League education to figure that out. Common sense is more than enough, or at least it should be. You yourself said you would not expect any of the things I said if you went to any other fan forum for any team in any sport and were constantly negative.

Yet you expect that here. Welcome to your insanity. Don't blame posters here for noticing.

I've posted as many postive things as I have negative in my time here and have always owned up when I was wrong, yet I regularly get attacked for what I post. Right now, coming off a 6-10 season, there is more to worry about than be excited about IMO. Expressing this opinion results in many posters acting as if I've openly expressed interest in murdering their first born. I just don't get it is all. I don't get why me and others are given a negative label because we havent been able to convince ourselves that most of the question marks on this team will work themselves out.

Again, I don't want anyone getting a pat on the back for anything, I just wonder why many valid opinions get thrown out and attacked because they are perceived as negative by some. It's not as if we're making up these concerns, they are very real concerns.
