To bad i was hoping he'd be that backup RB you never hear about but always got the job done. Never panned out.

I believe Lee is backing up Maurice Jones-Drew in Jacksonville.

ReShard Lee signed as an undrafted free agent in 2003 with the Dallas Cowboys, but after needing arthroscopic surgery was released with an injury settlement. He was re-signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2004 but was released before the start of the 2005 season. He then signed with the Buffalo Bills, but they also released him before the start of the 2005 season. He then signed with the Green Bay Packers and played in a few games. After being injured he was released by the team before the end of the 2005 season. He was signed by the Oakland Raiders in 2006, and played for them that season. In 2007 he hurt his knee during practice and was waived. When he cleared waivers he was put on Injured Reserve and released with an injury settlement.


Looks like he was a guy that looked capable in pre-season and just never stuck on any squad.

Looks likes like Rashard turned a knee injury into a career. :laugh2:

Someone had a nice piece about a sports writer who really admired him and got to do apiece on him but found out how he is addicted to pain killers and drugs and stuff. A while back but if you find the article its a good read.

I watched parts of games before the 1971 season because my Dad was a fan,but didn't really become a loyal watcher until 1971. One of my earliest Cowboy memories that stuck with me through my life was Lilly throwing his helmet 20+ yards after the Colts kicked the game winning FG in SB V.

Thank goodness I didn't start following the Cowboys in 71 watching them lose SB V the way they did would have been painful.

My Dad has been following the Cowboys since their inception in 1960.

He was more devastated after the loss to the Colts in SB V than he was when the Cowboys lost to the Packers in the ice bowl.

I was down the street shooting baskets with a friend during SB V.

My friend ran in the house after he heard his family moaning and groaning when he came back he said the Cowboys just got beat in the final seconds.

When I got home my dad was sitting on the sofa with a dazed look in his eyes mumbling to himself. He looked like a zombie it was scary.

Its been the tin foil hat types that have claimed that BP ruined Henson. But luckily BP stashed Romo out of sight and let Jerruh's man crush eventually prove to everyone he never had it. As, what 4 other teams found out as well?

I was real excited when we got Henson because of his potential, but alas...t'was not to be. I think he was a head case.

Whatever happened to Alvin Harper, Jimmie Jones, Kenneth Gant, Tony Casillas, James Washington, Dixon Edwards, Robert Jones, Jim Schwantz, John Jett, Brock Marion, Russell Maryland, Leon Lett and a slew of other traitors that defected with free agency after and during the super bowl years?

Only Cowboy defectors that had good careers outside the fold were ken Norton and Kevin Gogan, arguabley Brock Marion did as well in Miami.

What a waste of talent. Cannon and Hughes were big losses for the Cowboys in that era.

I didn't know Cannon's father went to prison for counterfeiting $100 bills. 3 years.

Yeah, back or neck injury against the Saints I believe. Happened very early in his rookie season.
